The new Hexblade pact on the WOTC site is interesting. It evokes a strong flavor of Arthurian Lady of the Lake mythology as well as Tolkien's Galadriel.

Cool article makes me want to play a Hexblade, some nice mythic themes running through this which as said alude to Arthurian tales. Very nice.

and the paragon path works with the other feyBlade as well! It is much more desireable than what I was going to have to take for my epic feyBlade!

This is actually something I've been wanting to see since the hexblade preview. The descriptions of the pact weapons make it sound like only one of each of these weapons exists, and it moves from hexblade to hexblade. Having different weapons maintains that bit of flavor, while at the same time provifing more options within a pact.
