When Falco realizes two of the party have decided to stay, it's obvious he is conflicted. He wants to be brave but KNOWS there are things here that should be feared and is unsure if it is wise to stay here at this point when they know so little about what is really going on. He walks in silence. When they reach the end of the walkway, he turns and looks back to the group. "Seems we can't go any further this way."

OOC - What time of day is it, BTW?

OOC: B'rri and Besharrn are for staying, and, so far, there have been no convincing arguments made by those who disagree.

Falco, looks at the sun as the group is outside. "It's getting on in the day. So what's it gonna be? If we intend to get back to town and to Lady Kendra we should leave now. My vote is to go back and plan another foray to spend the night - if nothing else not to worry Lady Kendra. She has already lost her father, and I'm sure would be worried if we did not come home this evening."

The group manages to get out of the prison and recover the lost weapon without incident. The trip back to the village is also passes smoothly. You arrive as the sun is setting and there seems to be more activity than in evenings past. Everyone seems to be trying to get home before full dark. Doors and shutters are slammed and braced. A cheery fire is burning at Kendra's, but you see her staring anxiously out the window as you approach.

OOC: I'm going to be only posting lightly the next few days while on vacation.

Falco notices the unusual activity and when they final reach the homestead and are inside, he asks Kendra, "What is going on? Everyone seems on edge."

Kendra smiles obviously pleased to see you return, but her words are grim. "The people are worried. The bloody letters on the statue each night have become the talk of the town. Nobody wants to be out past sunset."
