D&D 5E TftYP: Dead in Thay

Dead in Thay was originally written as a multi-party epic. However, I recall Mearls saying that they'd reworked it so a single party could get through it. I'm curious to hear from someone who has the book how exactly they've done that. Have they upped the level range for it (it was originally for levels 6-8)?

They never actually reworked the adventure, I believe the advice someone WotC-related I saw talking about it at Gen Con was to have the DM just make up what the other group does.

Oh I thought we were talking about the AL and then DMsGuild(where I got my copy) adventure, which I do have.

No, I'm talking about the version that appears in Tales from the Yawning Portal. Hence the "TftYP" abbreviation in the title.
