Purplerook: I will approve the non-standard equipment. You need 1 hand free to manipulate an arcane focus. This is the same hand you use for somatic components. You can Hold a bow one handed while casting.

Thanks. A couple of folks here helped me get straight on Holy Symbol vs. Arcane Focus. I think Ara is going to go old school with a component pouch.
Accounting of what I need to send home when I strike it rich
Equipment = longbow/quiver (51) + short sword (10) + familiar (10) = 71 - 15 = -56 gp
