Marvel Universe RPG / moved from other RPG thread

So I was invited to a marvel universe game and I wanted to make a character
who uses summoned companions of an element to fight and can
construct their own weapons . I went over the abilities and went with mastery
elements as that looked to be the right thing to choose along side construct/make object.
My question is: I want to make it so that when im using A specific summon say judgment(tarot card based)
I can gain power over light and dark so in theory I can cloak myself by manipulating light
or move through shadows from place to place. would that be possible with 40w?

(the main idea was a character that can use only two elements at a time and they are locked
to a persona and weapon combo )

the character is shaping up to look like they are going to be the leader of the group
and I'd rather not be a busted mess but I don't want to be horrible underpowered as
hitter on the team. the flaws for the character are. haunted past, deadly enemies,
physiological damage( when ever they use the persona's to fight they clash with what
the persona may be telling them to do as they are supposed to be a hero not the persona
which could be evil.
other basic powers are: flight, leadership, social skills, precog flashes, ranged/close combat,


the thing is in the setting of the world magic isn't believed to be true/ or not exist at all
unsure really from the GM telling me
