With a grunt and a leap, Kildrak brought his war pick down from high over his head; using his momentum to have the heavy pick stick into the enormous arachnid.

Finnan,
So much for sneaking thought Finnan as anger flared up in him. His eldritch powers might attract unwanted attention but Finnan had little else to offer to the fight, besides the guard room should hide the flash somewhat. Pointing at the spider climbing through the window Finnan uttered his arcane words and a beam of energy leaped past Ront and through the window.

Atallia slashes at the spider, following the strike with a well placed kick.
Atallia moves in and slashes at the legs of the spider that are clasped onto the bridge. Then she get a quick ideal.
She brings her leg straight up under the head of the beast and connects. It flys backwards, legs flailing for perches before it falls down through the webs into the pool below.

Finnan hops up into the small stand and sends a purplish black bolt out the arrow slit. It connects with the creatures lower abdomen, and that is when he notices the webbing in the window and follows it to a covered Ront. < STR save [roll0] >
The orc roars..."ARRGGGHHH!" and burst from the webs panting angrily.

Some of the other prisoners start to panic in the small enclosed space. Derendil moves to help Thia while Turvy, Sarith, and Buppido run for the exit and across the bridge. Shuushar flees and JimJar climbs right up the rope ladder back into the armory. Eldeth stepped up to late to help with the first spider. "Guid work lassy." she says to Atallia.
Stool moves under the stand and quivers.

The spider moves from the window towards the second bridge. When it gets to the doorway it starts to cover it with webbing. <AC 10, 15/15 HP>

Thia takes a short breath and casts cure wounds on herself. She then lets out a stream of Orcish curses about the people who ran toward the drow enclave instead of fighting the spider. She knew some of these volunteers could become more hindrance than help.
