Sheeva now looks up with interest. This might be an interesting day after all. However, these strangers look unusual and it might not be the best idea for a Drow to talk up quite yet, so Sheeva holds her tongue, stays still, and mentally prepares for the worst.

Feall moves slowly apart from his new friends, just enough to get a little separation in case of attack. He does not ready any weapons . . .

Lan looks at the man and his companions, trying to determine if there were any physical clues that could point to the fact that they are with the other Khyber cultists.

[sblock=Perception] Lan rolls a 31 perception check. [/sblock]

Quite the contrary, this group seems to fit the distinction of Emesha's very well although there is one of their number missing. Based on the way the two women look, close enough to be related, you surmise that Kelma, the fighter of their group is not there.

Realizing that Kelma, the fighter of the Paladin's group, was missing, he decided to relay this information to River, rather than break the conversation that the two already had.

"River, We think this is the original group, but ask the man where Kelma is. The two twins are back there" he thinks, mentally pointing to the two longbow wielders, "but their fighter is missing."

Just a point of clarification, none of the others have weapons drawn, I was just describing what they carried on their persons, much like you have your weapons.

OOC: Back from the bar.

After his mental cry, Valahad speaks to Lanharath. "Move closer to the archers. You are quick enough to keep up with them They pollute the Flame by wearing it's symbol, let us play it cool for now." The paladin walks up the stairs, blade still in hand, but lowered. He speaks in the mind of the man in plate armor. "Do you have a place to rest? We are in need."

Happy Turkey Day

As the paladin moves forward with blade in hand, the human continues to move closer, and now the party can see something just a bit off with them thanks to Valahad's mental warning. Both Sheeva and Pok were able to react before the others could launch whatever it is they are planning to do.
