Naaah, this time I'M going to win.

He could probably just sit back and wait for his new avatar, rather than spending his valuable time looking for one which will never be used. :)

Well... I'm even more confident they'll leave Blurred Step alone.

My point still stands on why--they're still as good as a Warden in 'stickiness'. I don't think they want to up the stickiness of Battleminds (or any defender) to Fighter levels; they seem pretty sure they want that to remain the Fighter advantage, for the same reasons Wardens can't heal like a Paladin, or Swordmages don't get Warden defenses.

As I recall, there was something in PH2 that I thought was a serious issue and bound to be addressed as soon as possible. First errata after PH2 and they fix... expertise feat stacking. Next cycle along, and they actually addressed the issue I was worried about. I don't remember exactly what the issue was, but it seems like they only issue errata ASAP for huge errors.

Anything smaller than a completely unacceptable error seems to wait for at least the second update cycle after the book comes out. I guess they wait and give people time to wrap their head around the class before they jump in and meddle with stuff. I mean, look at the orb of nimble thoughts. That thing's bound to get errata sooner or later, but they didn't do it in the first update. On the other hand, they did update wormhole plunge to stop insta-gibbing.

Battleminds are functional (if only barely), so they can wait long enough to let the dust settle.
