Virgil suddenly snorts awake, rolls onto his feet, coughs up some black smoke, then shambles through the tavern again.
Dante watches the devil lizard warily as it walks over to the woman, stares at her back blearily for a moment, then rips a large chunk from her cloak, plops down, and begins chewing.
Before the bodyguard can stab Virgil, Dante dashes through the Hanged Man, putting a calming hand on the man's arm.
"Pardon the devil lizard, this one never knows exactly what it will do. This one thinks it means the devil lizard likes the woman. Perhaps this is a sign. What is this reward spoken of earlier?"
