And...they're subscription only. I paid my $40 for the adventure. Why should I pay another $10 (the cost of a one-month subscription) just to access the map and art galleries? As someone who owns tons of D&D books but has no interest in paying subscription fees to access the online character builder, color me unimpressed.
Well, I guess I see it as a useful value-added for a DDI subscription.

And look at it this way, if you do pay $10 for a 1-month sub, you get everything else as well, including all of Dungeon and Dragon and all the other galleries that are DDI-only. Probably well worth a one-off investment?
And exactly how often would this one-off investment be needed? It does not solve the original complaint, that such things should be available for the people who bought the adventure.
