What setting would you like to see as RPG?

From someone's stuff, Aliens/Prometheus comes to the fore of my mind. I missed the game that came out in the 80's, but I did do my own version (it's rather poor, I've learned a lot since then).

Other than that, I'd like to get my own campaign world Crimson Empire, published. It's another take on an Arabic-style world, with Cthulhu Norse, Undead aristocracy, African Lost Jungles and Ninja Samuria clans nations all mixed in together.

1 A setting inspired by Solomon Kane and set in a Early Modern era (roughly 16th/17th century) with a strong presence of Fairy and gothic horror. (one of my homebrews).

2 Something set in Clives Mughal India

3 Shadows of the Apt - I like the insect themes

4 Mortal Engines (Traction cities)

Thief: dark Project should DEFINITELY be a D&D setting.

Mass Effect. Probably too pulpy/space-opera for Traveller, but would probably be perfect in the D6 (old Star Wars) system or maybe Savage Worlds.

Alien(s) just begs to be published as a Traveller setting.

One thing I would really like to see is an RPG based on Garth Nix's Old Kingdom series. For those who haven't heard of/read the books: Imagine a very British nation in the early 20th century (Ancelstierre) that borders on a high magic fantasy kingdom (Old Kingdom) and the two are seperated by a demilitarized zone (The Wall). Officially the government denies the existance of the entire kingdom let alone anything magical. But when the wind blows from the Old Kingdom strange things start to happen near the border; technology falters, magic becomes possible (for those trained in it) and the dead get restless.
It's a wonderful setting with a lot of interesting magic systems and accompanying flavor. Frankly I'd suggest everyone to read it for its unique perspective on death/necromancy alone.

One based on the works of David Gemmell - he stated that all of the worlds depicted in his books were interrelated so there's real scope for different time periods. My principle interest would be the world of the Drenai saga but the post apocalyptic world of Jon Shannow would also appeal.

If something like this would ever to come out I think I would cry from joy. I think every character I have ever played in any D&D campaign has had some link to a character from one of his books. The only problem being, with his death, I would be unsure on the legality of such a undertaking? I guess it would be Mrs Gemmell you would have to speak to on that one.

Another great one, which I have home brewed recently, would be David Eddings Belgariad. It made a great world with a little effort.
