The Walking Dead 4.8 "Too Far Gone" (Spoiler Alert - Mid Season Finale!)

well, other than Andrea in Season 2, the rest of the group eventually gathered together at the same spot by the highway. It remains to be seen if they have a plan after Prison-A-Geddon.

Maggie mentioned a place her dad took her as a kid, so I wonder if some if them will end up there. Seemed kind of a random thing to mention otherwise.

intense finish to the finale, with a huge battle that ended with Hershel and The Governor being killed, as well as numerous others, possibly including Judith.

A walker wouldn't have bothered to take Judith out of the carrier. So, she's alive somewhere. She was with the young girls earlier in the episode, so I'd guess she was with them and Tyrese.

The survivors are seemingly scattered with Rick & Carl together, Tyreese with 2 kids, and Daryl and Michonne by themselves, with a bunch of people on the school bus.

My recollection is that the only named character shown on the bus is Glen.

i'd be surprised if they didn't have a plan of some sort

It seemed pretty clear to me that there was a plan. The bus was part of it, and I'm pretty sure that they mentioned a planned gathering point the bus and stragglers would try to get to.

.

I think if they did kill her, the reason the carrier would be empty would have more to do with not showing a dead baby than a walker talking her (she could have been hit by bullet or bit, and a another character could have removed her). So if they did kill her, the bloody carrier is probably the only visual they felt safe showing. I thought she was alive too, but after kirkman's response to that question, I am not so sure now (i dont believe we saw the carrier a second time with the girs).

More than likely the two little girls with guns (I forgot their names) saved her. After saving Tyreese, they ran off in the opposite direction to where Tyreese said they were supposed to go.

Exactly. The strong implication I got was that they went back to get Judith.

That is definitely a strong possibility, but because that happened off camera, we don't know if they succeeded (they could have just been witnesses to her death). Like i said, i felt she probably lived when it first occured but Kirkman's reaction (which could have been to throw us off admittedly) really made me think twice about that.

I presume you mean that Kirkman was on Talking Dead? I didn't watch it, so I'm going merely by what was shown in the episode.

Yes. He was on after the episode. It certainly could have been misdirection, Morrisey did that with the governor when he was on talking dead. (Insisting the governor had turned a corner).
