I did say he doesn't look 'barbaric,' but I also disagree that he even looks like a barbarian. Something about the clothing.

I think he looks like a fur trapper. One that isn't concerned enough about the cold to wear a hat. Actually he looks a lot like Sabretooth to me, which probably gives him much more of a barbaric vibe to me than he would otherwise. Something about the blonde hair and the long coat.

But this is probably an example of the separation of background from class. He's a barbarian, but he isn't necessarily an outlander.

He looks like a Viking who has had too much of a taste of the city, maybe even multi-classed into bard (skald). Too effete to be a real babarian, like Conan. :p

Once again, does no one know who Fafhrd is?

Apparently not here! :(

Most of my D&D group knows who he is. I've known who he was since I was about 11.

Considering that he's awesome, it's a disappointment. To be fair, he's more of a Barbarian/Rogue or Barbarian/Fighter/Rogue than a Barbarian alone, though.

He's a guy that Conan could have crushed, seen him driven before him, and heard the lamentations of his women.

Pretty sure Ffhard and the Grey Mouser could have double-teamed Conan very effectively (book or film, and I say that loving both).

Hmmm. That came out wrong. I'm just going to with it. :)
