From Jared Blando, the artist:
So there may be a possibility differences like the lack of an extra "r" in Felbar are intentional.

I understand you are upset. I didn't have any involvement with making the maps. I'm just trying to make sense of things. The artist has admitted to the Silvermoon/Silverymoon mistake, but not others. What is your explanation for this?
Have you asked Ed Greenwood about Felbarr/Felbar recently? What has he said? Can you post it here for those of us who are interested, but aren't so interested as to seek out those kinds of answers?
Thaumaturge.
Upset? No, mate. But I can understand from re-reading my post than you might have thought a fanboy was having a moment....
Sorry, I don't have anything I can post publicly. Give me a few days and I will see what I can quote here. (There is a bit of sensitivity that the first FR map for the new edition had these errors, especially when it includes a major city like Silverymoon.)
Actually Ed's novels are NOT always cannon regardless of his wanting to be or not. WotC deviates from them constantly. Ed is a novelist first and setting designer second. So do not use the novels as a guide to whether or not something is in the setting or not.No, it's not. Go and ask Ed.

In the Sundering when Abeir left, it took random letters with it.
Thamature.
Wasn't that in the Spelling-Plague?
