D&D 5E What technology do you own that you are willing to bring to the table?

Feels like a poll like this hasn't been done in a bit. Dungeonscape has made me curious. Please select any and all that apply. What technology do you own that you are willing to bring to the table?

I guess I'm not a huge advocate of technology at the table. I need something to play music, so just a laptop suffices. I used to use a program called rpg soundmixer, and that totally rocked, but it took some time to queue up the music, but once it was done it was done, and you could reuse and re-sample saved archives for years and years.

If I had access to a digital projector mounted in the ceiling and a 1" grid, I would gladly upgrade to that.

Well, I own and use a laptop for my games. It was prompted by Mortaneus' 4e Combat Manager, but I've gotten used to it since and will probably use it for lighter systems as well.

I also own a smartphone, but don't use it at the table - neither as GM nor as player.

I use an iPad with Evernote typically. I write up my adventures on my computer at home, and use the sync feature to bring the adventure along with me wherever. I used to use it for its Pathfinder apps as well, but now I have to carry the books around with me for 5E.

Do dice towers count as technology? Because those save a remarkable amount of time over the course of a night. At least at my tables where dice rolled free seem to go to the craziest places.

How about dry erase boards? Are those technology?

I'm weird. I'm in my mid thirtys and as such still part of the computer generation. I love Masterplan, and the 4e tools, and am looking forward to DUngeonscape. However some times I wish we didn't have computers and phones at the table.

Right now we have 2 I pads, 3 Nooks, 6 phones (1 iPhone 4 droid 1 nonsmart) and 2 laptops... for 5 players and a DM...

Almost all my gaming is done on Roll20 so yeah kinda need my PC for that.

As a GM, or as a player?

As a GM, I'm willing to bring a laptop to the table. As a player, I'm not so much on using technology. If the game is complicated enough to need it to play, I probably am not terribly interested in the game to begin with.

I'm not a luddite but I find that any form of technology at the table is way more unwieldy than just using pen and paper.
