Kaleth pulls his hand from the stove after several long minutes of meditation. As he does he turns his face up to look at the ceiling.

Shildoor would you search the roof? I heard clanking coming from the roof within the past hour. Perhaps whatever was making the noise left something in the thatch.

OOC: Is there anything above the house? I imagine that the cave is tiered with other building on levels above. When we arrived was there anything that might have accounted for the noise? Also looking to see if the noise came from the ceiling inside. Let me know if I need to roll a check.

GM: Never really thought much about the layout other than it was a ring split up into districts. I do Like it let there be tiers.

Searching the roof Shildon finds something interesting under the thatch the roof is made of metal and sounds hollow.

Searching the inside of the house reveals no entrance to the roof short of trying to squeeze up through the chimney though the ceiling definitely sounds hollow. There where no signs of anything that could of made the sound.

GM: You would have to remove the thatching to be sure I wasn't sure if you would want to may look odd. If you do you find that roof is made of a single sheet of thin metal with a single trap door hinged to pull up sized for a gnome, on the underside of the hatch is a makers initials B S they match up with initials on some of the papers from inside. The space on the other side that spans the entire length of the house because of the angle of the roof it is difficult to see in, from what you can see their is a large circle drawn on the floor in purple chalk.

"Felix was in debt for something made from metal. I suppose this was what he had made. Why an attic made of metal?"

"If someone tall and strong will lift me up, I might be able to crawl into the space and look around," Shavara says. Inside she avoids the chalk circle and searches for anything interesting. As she heads into the area hard to see from the opening, she draws her rapier, just in case.

OOC: Investigation? [roll0] Perception? [roll1] She removes her backpack if she needs to squeeze into the opening.

The inside of the attic is musty and has little of note in it save for a book written in strange language you do not recognise it looks strange follows no script you can think of something entirely different. A small locket rests in the center of the circle, it is made of silver In the shape of a lions head its design makes you think it is some sort of heraldry.
