Not to be pedantic, but any form of distribution of another’s IP is a copyright and/or trademark violation. It doesn’t have to be on the DMs Guild. Just that the DMs Guild is a business, and they’d be responsible for copyright violation by hosting it. But just because you have it linked on another site or have it for free doesn’t mean it’s still not a copyright violation.

If Bethesda does anything about it is a different story, but either way it’s still technically a copyright violation.

How did you get it to download as a pdf? When I clicked on "get pdf", it just took me to another tab with a non-pdf and brought up the Print option.

There is a lot of interesting work here. I liked the flavor text under the Spriggan. The only thing missing is custom rules for crits to the knee.

One other thing of note. A monster’s HD type is largely determined by size of the creature. I made the same mistake when doing monsters when 5e just came out until someone pointed that out.

Yeah but this is also this whole thing called fan art, fiction etc and I can see this falling under that bracket (assuming of course that it’s free). I know some copyright holders frown heavily on any unauthorized use and yet others actively embrace it because of the brand support and network effects it can produce.

We live in an interesting for this kind of creative remixing.

Of course you’re 100% correct as far as the law is concerned. But if the law was applied 100% then there would be no fan fiction and yet there is. Do you see my point?
