D&D 5E What can a wizard do in that other casters can't?

Show me where.
Because it's quite a claim that "two allow for [...] healing" means the spells don't result in healing.

“Allow” is the keyword. It doesn’t heal you. The resting it allows you to do heals you.

Or think of it this way:Can you cast Leomunds tiny hut and not rest? Yes. Will you be healed by casting the spell and not resting? No. Thus it’s prove the spell does t heal you

No, you can't. A short rest isn't something you do, it's something you get.
If you don't do anything that would invalidate a short rest and spend an hour in the Rope Trick, you had a short rest. Same with Long Rests and the Hut.

As for whether the spell heals, of course it does. Without the spell, there wouldn't be the rest, therefore any effects of the rest are a direct result of the spell.

I wouldn’t go down that rabbit hole. Without your mother you would not be here. Is everything you do a direct result of her? When you have a kid, is everything they do goi f to be a direct result of you?

So no, healing from a rest is a direct result of resting. That something gives you the opporturtunity to rest is great but it doesn’t suddenly change the direct cause of the healing.

No, you can't just ignore it. Something that grants you a rest, grants you everything that goes with the rest.

Everything I've done is a consequence of her giving birth to me.

Do fireballs heal as well? I mean they end encounters and you can’t rest while an encounter is going on. Is fireball also responsible for everything that comes with a rest?

I think you both can agree at least that the wizard spells in question are useful to have to keep a character's hp resource from going to zero, especially if, for example, the party has no clerics, bards, druids, rangers, or paladins (either through misadventure or though party composition).

Whether that is called "healing" or not is more of a verbal dispute.
