The Thirteenth Doctor is better than the Twelfth .....

Are we counting Cappaldi as 12 and Whitaker as 13, Hurt as 12 and Cappaldi as 13, or Smith as 12 and Cappaldi as 13?

Side note: F*** Moffat for making this kind of clarification necessary by retroactively inserting Hurt’s Doctor between McGan’s and Eccleston’s. Hurt was an amazing doctor, but was it really necessary to throw the count off, just because the showrunner was getting antsy about the 13th regeneration coming up?

A debate about which were the best Star Wars movies is infinitely preferable to a debate about the definition of "grognard".

You say that now. But what happens when I say only Star Wars grognards dislike the Phantom Menace or think Han shot first?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is, and always will be, better than the DC Cinematic Universe ....

Well, that goes without saying...

The Thirteenth Doctor is better than the Twelfth .....

Whatever.

Kirk >>>>>>>> Picard.

Kirk is an idiot. A successful idiot, but an idiot. If he didn't have Spock, he'd drive the Enterprise into a gas giant... but that wouldn't be more bloated than his ego. :D

Kirk (TOS) > Sisko > Picard > Janeway > Kirk (TAS) > Kirk (Kelvin) > Lorca > Archer

Now you're just making stuff up.

These are the types of problems you have when your continuity is a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.

It is more... continujelly.

If you could read my mind, you'd know that ol' Gord lived a charmed life, until his ship (the Edmund Fitzgerald) was wrecked at sundown, and he was overcome by bitter green Vegepygmies.

A tragedy, that.

Complete aside - I know a lady who was on the scene reporting on the actual wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald. Listening to her tell of it gave me a whole different perspective on that song.

That's simply not factual. Whether or not you feel he had a big ego, Kirk shows on multiple episodes that he's quite competent with the Enterprise's systems. There's no danger he'd plow into a gas giant.
Unless she was smokin' hot. :rimshot:
