Mando season 3

Except this is the lady that let kryze take off her helmet and just initiated a new recruit without the clause about removing her helmet. Her rules “stickiness” does seem a bit flexible when it needs to be
Does it need to be, in this instance? It's an immense galaxy, and the chances of ever finding Grogu's real parents, or even finding out whether they're alive, are slim to none. Is there any real obstacle to adoption in that circumstance?

She's a stickler to rules and traditions, not to whatever sense is behind them. It's sort of a lot of that character in a nutshell.
Yeah, but Djardin (which I guess is how we have to refer to him now) knows better.

Oh, and I forgot of another head-slapper: Moff Gideon, in the middle of fighting dozens of Mandalorians, refers to Djardin as "the Mandalorian." That doesn't seem like the kind of intellectual sloppiness he'd engage in, to say nothing of what a useless way to describe someone in that moment.

I think it was just flames from burning fuel - there was no real explosion or shockwave shown, just a billowing and rather slow-moving (single-digit meters per second) wall of flame which washed over them. Further, surprisingly little debris from the ship came down, and the ship itself didn't appear to. I personally have to theorize it's mostly in one (burnt out) piece, rather than having exploded spectacularly.
His real Force power: plot armor.

That said, to respond to a post I saw earlier about why I'm watching this show despite all of this:

My wife and I really liked the first two seasons, janky deep-fake Luke Skywalker aside. We love Pedro Pascal. I really like 99% of the supporting cast (Apa!). This show can be a lot better than it was, because the first two seasons were. So we watched with the hope and expectation that we had just seen an off episode and things would get back on track.

Given how they ended the finale, it looks like they might be letting this series rest for a while, potentially until the movie to tie all these shows together comes out, which is probably fine.

I agree with Bob Iger that it's probably time to ease up a little on the gas on both Marvel and Star Wars so we can get the best product that we can, instead of just a lot of it.

Really? If a child has basically no chance of ever being reunited with their birth parents, but you're not sure they're dead, that means the child should effectively have no parents?
We have a lot of examples in the real world of people adopting refugee children without knowing if their parents are alive. It's a mess, even if most of the people are doing it for pure reasons.

All Mando accomplished was initiating Grogu into a cult that we have no way of knowing he genuinely wants to join. They didn't even hook him up to his yes/no buttons.
