I don't know... I rather liked the flavour of the old Haste. Now that they took the sugar out of it and the caffine, it tastes so artificial.:(

*sigh* You're so right, jdavis. I should just send my other players home if someone no-shows at my game. How positively foolish of me. That thoughtless player is obviously far more important than the rest of the group, and I should put my game on hold til that player generously graces us...

On a further note, in any game I've ever run, I've required my player's character sheets and made copies, because there is no way I'm holding up a game for the other players because someone no-shows. All the people who won't let the GM do so are inconsiderate slobs, end of story.

IMHO, that's just pretentious. If you're playing a game to create "art" (which is an overused word), than you have an overinflated sense of ego. I don't know what you think you're playing a game for, but as for me, I play the game to have fun.

You're forgetting the classic HERO book, Aaron Allston's Lands of Mystery.

The naga from Rokugan d20 seems to fit the bill. You'll have to modify them a bit (they have Shadowlands Taint Immunity as a racial ability, but it shouldn't be too hard to swap that out for something else). There are some interesting Bloodline abilities, too.
