OOC: Ouch! Kona'i flinches and goes black for a second when hit by the goblin in front of him. Desperate and infuriated, he breaks composure and mutters a curse. With the venom still dripping from his lips he swings again with his staff, making a lovely sounding crack against his foe's skull...

As the goblin tries to squirm past, Kona'i jabs at its side with his quarterstaff, but fails to connect. He then turns on the goblin in front of him and swings, but with the same ineptitude. Attack of Opportunity on G3 (6 to hit) Regular Attack on G2 (5 to hit) InvisibleCastle, why hast thou...

Kona'i steps up the lead goblin and swings with his quarterstaff... OOC: Step to C8 and attack G2: 1d20+3=13, 1d6+3=5

Kona'i loads his sling and looses a bullet at the nearest goblin. Unfortunately, in his haste the stone flies wild and does no harm to anyone. Sling bullet at G1 unless the others finish him off during the surprise round. If so, just choose the target randomly, it doesn't matter. I failed...

Kona'i carefully but quickly weaves his way to the front of the party. Catching Dair's (ooc: or Xir's, if he's actually in the lead) attention, he first holds a finger to his lips then makes a cupping motion around his ear.

Kona'i brings up the rear, senses in overdrive, as he protects the unarmored caster (and the rest of the party) from any surprise attack from behind. OOC: Listen 26 (natural 20)

OOC: Kona'i would gain 3 lost hp and a use of Stunning Fist by resting, but I'll also be fine without them if we don't rest.

OOC: D'oh, I had assumed resting happened, but now realize it was never mentioned explicitly. Can we assume the latter half of our conversation with Luther happened in the morning? If not, Kona'i is more than willing to rest as well. :)

Kona'i allows a half grin to surface in response to Luther's joke. After taking his leave of the hunter he gathers his trusty quarterstaff and his pack. He pauses in case any of his companions have further business, then steps out the door.

"Thank you for your hospitality... I'm sorry, what was your name again? I'm Kona'i," the monk extends his hand. After the hunter introduces himself, Kona'i asks, "Do we have any idea what the inside of the monsters' compound is like? A map perhaps, even if it's vague. I'd like to have an idea...

ooc: That's right, he did and I forgot. You may assume that he's still carrying it, had shuttered it earlier, and has now revealed it again.

Kona'i softly shakes his head with a mild smile as he follows the cleric down the tunnel. OOC: Don't worry, I'm still here. Kona'i just hasn't had anything to say...
