D&D 5E Drizzt Do'Urden official stats in D&D Beyond Announcement?

I didn't say it was a reason. I was just pointing out an interesting similarity.

D&D 5E Drizzt Do'Urden official stats in D&D Beyond Announcement?

Actually, those are almost identical to his stats in 1st Ed.'s Hall of Heroes (1989), which I believe was his first write-up. There, he has Str 13, Int 17, Wis 16, Dex 20, Con 15, Cha 14.

    Racial Paragon Classes

As a matter of fact, the Dicefreaks community has a bunch done by one of their members: Reworking Racial Paragons.

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

Yeah, whoops, forgot about that. But I did say, "usually." ;) Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is to revise the class skills, & each discipline's key skill (which might turn out weird); also, check/change HD to PF's standard, but I disagree with that blanket change.

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

Then YMDIV (your mileage does indeed vary). Feat chains are good enough for me to provide options for fighters. And my groups still uses 3.5 Power Attack (I do disagree with some PF revisions). CMB does need some work from what I've read over on the Paizo boards, but I try to follow those...

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

I liked what they did to fighters. IMO, the fighter is the most basic martial class & doesn't need special tricks & maneuvers; it's pure purpose is to deal & soak damage, & PF just upping the raw offense & defense suits me fine. YMMV. Spellcasters do have more low-level/miscellaneous abilities...

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

(Sorry for the delay in responding.) Oh yeah, now I remember reading that one. I can't find it now to go over as I type this, though. I did like some of the upgraded choices for the hex curse (even if I can't remember the specifics, I can remember saying, "hey some of these are neat!"). My...

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

I tried not to change mechanics of the classes too much. Mostly just tried adding things to fill up dead levels. Bonus feats were/are a common addition, with the type relating to the class somehow (dragon shamans & dragonfire adepts get draconic feats, marshals get tactical feats, etc.). I...

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

I notated in my (ever-so-brief) conversion/update that the favored soul must pick an appropriate bloodline, related to the portfolio of his god. So a favored soul of a god of fate & time could pick destiny as his bloodline, for example. And compared to the sorcerer, the favored soul was...

    Ranged Power Attack. Viable?

Actually, it's the peerless archer PrC in Silver Marches.

Pathfinder 1E "Pathfinderizing" Non-Core Classes and Races

Presto2112 (& Hobo & FentonGib & LordVyreth), Over on the Paizo message boards, someone posted a PF update for the four base classes in XPF. I DL'ed it; not too bad, especially considering the fact that I am too lazy to work on those. Just do a search for psionics & it should turn up. (I just...

    Psionic Theurge. Where is it?

Wizards did post a psionic theurge PrC a while ago. Part of the Mind's Eye series. I have the .pdf collection they released it in, but it's too big to attach. So here: Ten levels, poor BAB, poor Fort & Ref, good Will Hit Die: d4. Requirements To qualify to become a psychic theurge, a...

    White dragon name help needed

I tend to use www.20000-Names.com. Pertaining to this thread, there are sections for Finnish, Icelandic, Norse, Norwegian & Scandinavian names. Not sure if any relate directly to ice & snow.

    Stacking Damage Reduction?

Multiple types of DR (similar or no) never stack, unless one of them explicitly says so (there are a rare few). The short version? RAW. The long version involves game balance & design philosophy/intent. If you want to have DR stack, that's fine if you're the DM & your players agree (& you can...
