I have cover to cover'd the book. It is AWESOME. By far my favorite of the BotD line.
My only concearn is balance around soul trading and the soul drinker PC. The soul trade balance can be done at the table based on in game situations. The soul drinker though seems a bit more rough.

eh... they're both equally do-able from a programming stand-point. The only technical difference is a skill system, vs an abstract 'reaction' and 'morale' system. In the end it's largely the same (look at Icewind Dale 1-2 for a more obvious window into this, DDO is an excellent adaption of 3.5...
Started 4e when the pdfs leaked before the books were actually out. Loved it all! I Was disgruntled with 'problem players' in my 3.x games; this was a breath of fresh air.
A part of me was put off by the FR books, but I took it in stride ("DDI will fill in the gaps"). I learned a lot while...
What was the turning point where you decided to cancel your subscription or let it lapse? :
The original DDI team clean out.
Was it an economic issue, content issue?
Personal Issue with the way certain events were handled.

I'm not sure I'm against Paizo's specialty board system. It's nice having a specific place to go and talk about.. say the council of thieves AP. Perhaps an AP forum with tags or something would be better?
This seems very setting specific... which makes me glad I have my "Elves of Golorian". In there it says elves (of Golorian) go into a trance... That's what I'd base my info off of.

For the Harrower's main ability (augument spells with cards) would you guys say its fair to make it 3+cha mod times/day? To bring it in line with other abilities uses/day.
I have to say, the first module in CotCT is what converted me to PF. It was also my first look a the system.
Mainly the article on varisians is what pulled me... after a year and a half of 4e setting and modules, it was very awkward to have a product feel like the author actually gave a damn...
