One standard combat encounter 1 h
skill challenge 10 min
Big combat encounter 1,5 h
Roleplaying/decision making/exploring 50 mins
Half the time we end session 15...
The Hook Mountain Massacre is great. It's for 3.5e. Features ogres, trolls and giants.

I have played and DMed campaigns that involved conquest theme. We played using old D&D box sets mainly Companion and Master sets which have War machine and Dominions rules.
Our battleground was Grand Duchy of Karameikos.

I'm not paying online content. There is already tons of books and magazines to get content. I seldom read articles that they have in Wizards website for free now.
