The VOIDRUNNER'S CODEX is coming! Explore new worlds, fight oppressive empires, fend off fearsome aliens, and wield deadly psionics with this comprehensive boxed set expansion for 5E and A5E!
Not sure about which feats would best help out, but I do seem to recall that most creatures with flying, can't actually take off if they are carrying anything more than a light load. So that might have more of an impact on what you can get away with.
An average Strix (STR 10) wouldn't be able...
:)
You know, I did actually consider that. But what would an Elven Ranger (follower of Mielikke) do with money in a bank, and a house to live in ("you mean like, inside!?")? :)
When you sit down and calculate costs, it's truly staggering just how much money the average adventurer is...
Sure, I can see how the sprue idea would actually work with the RAW, but for me it depends on the presumed technological understanding of the setting, ie. do they understand the concept behind mass production - it's a relatively new concept even for us in this century. I tend to imagine a more...
Brand new role-players, who've never played any role-playing game, let alone D&D or PF?
You might hate low level games, but they've never experienced it. You mustn't steal the experience of starting at 1st level from them.
Perhaps you find the rules simple and intuitive (having played it at...
This is interesting.
I always read that spell as though it produced one single item per casting with the size limits specified (10cu ft or 1cu ft per level for minerals) from raw material.
I never read it as allowing the mass producing of individual items.
Maybe due to PC's that would have...
The lack of fixed errata is shocking. I was under the impression that was the whole point of the 3.5 'Premium' line of reprints.
I wonder how that happened?
I think this put a lot of people off.
Perfectly playable rules (mostly), but those class names and the attempt to make them 'generic' were a real stumbling block... :erm:
If you're a game publisher, the more the merrier.
Think of all those 'Complete ...' series books you can sell, and if you're a really greedy publisher, you could divide up all the classes and put them in three separate Players Handbooks.... :uhoh:
I don't know what the latest edition has done to each archetype, but I do know that magic users got waaaaay out of control back in 3rd Ed.
I watched as the game groups I played in went from one magic using character and five or six other non-magic users, to four or five magic users (including...
Have the big bad nasty, kill maim or mutilate a friendly and valued NPC in front of the PC's. Preferably in such a way as to suggest, 'it could do that to you next'.
Also, there is the old staple of just letting them find the victims and not actually getting to see the 'thing' that caused it...
Using miniatures in a role-playing game is neither good nor bad, it's just a play style preference.
Do what brings you and your fellow players the most fun and satisfaction.
I should imagine that WotC must be seriously considering this as a possible candidate for release, it's so much an obvious choice for a Premium reprint. Maybe they are unsure of demand?
It's a shame, but I don't imagine them ever reprinting this little lot. I can't imagine I'm the only one who could do with some replacement books.
If they did, they might as well just relaunch 3rd edition.
Hmmmm, Now there's an idea! :D
I've been picking up the WotC DnD3.5E Premium reprints as they've been releasing them. The last one was the Magic Item Compendium, which was announced back in February (?) and was released just this month, but I don't see any new 'Premium' books listed for future publication.
If they do anymore...
