I'm not sure if I'm up to it but I'd like a description of Agar if possible.

    Art from Piratecat's story hour

Thanks! Here's a second version that has some of the rougher effects tidied up (sketch lines, some of the light straightened). Use whichever one you prefer :D.

    Art from Piratecat's story hour

Hey, have enjoyed the story hour hugely so thought it would only be fair to ahve a go at providing some art for you. So here's my interpretation of the sunlight cast across the underdark by the mark of Aeos on the hill where they just had their climactic fight. Soder also features... (This is...

Did YOU win the custom "A Dozen . . . " PDF in the donation drive?

Thanks I think I wasn't communicating it very well :). Only I guess something less focused on an individual (like the Geomancer or taint/sanity/dark side points) More like locations and areas touched by the far realms. (though a corrupted individual or two could fit in easily).

Did YOU win the custom "A Dozen . . . " PDF in the donation drive?

Cool will have a look at the haunted house stuff. I don't know I was thinking a 'pseudonatural bleed point' would be anywhere that something to do with the far realms (or a similar idea you prefered) bled into or corrupted your fantasy world. However since I use call of Cthulu as a basis for my...

Do You Use the Core Pantheon?

Nope, and don't think I ever would. I don't really like it as a pantheon, balanced between being too vanilla and too Greyhawk in flavour neither of which I like at all. I use the Demon and Devil lords though.

    d20 Sorcery! adventures

Oh whoops sorry! I guess everyone might have not had a clue what I was talking about then... The company Myriador Ltd. has made a conversion of the fighting fantasy game books (I think they're similar to 'choose your own adventure' in the states) written by Steve Jackson. In...

    d20 Sorcery! adventures

Just noticed the third in this series on the front page and have always quite liked Steve Jackson's Titan as a world, really enjoyed the Sorcery! books too. So I was wondering if anyone had played or read this conversion and if so what they thought of it. If I had particular questions they...

    Totem Spirits of the Lakashi

I wholeheartedly agree this is exactly what I needed for a totemic religion in the campaign I'm working on. Thankyou :D.

Just pottering around (was early 20thC ... setting)

Hmm I find this thread very interesting and would like to see how it develops especially if there are Last Exile elements to be explored. :) Had you given thought to what rules would govern the sky ships?

    Planecape recommended viewing

The Matrix of course (and to a much lesser and poorer extent Equilibrium) give a good feel for 'reality as symbol' and as influenced by thought and belief that I think is quite appropriate for a Planescape game, plus it has many ideas about how philosophy can be turned into a reason to beat...

Is it sadder when an elf dies than when a human dies?

Agreed, I think that in tolkien's epistemology the death of an elf was particularly tragic and it is in part because they are giving up immortality. It doesn't have to ba that way in your own campaign of course. P.S. I don't think that elves *have* to be priggish and racist, I always found that...
