    Class features & Class themes

A thought occurred to me when reading up character concepts. I don't know if it's been asked before, but Do class features such as the ones described in Martial power stack with Class themes that are offered in Dark Sun? Or is it choose one or the other? For example, would one be able to...

    Any Starting gold threads somewhere?

:D Hey there, I'm connected online at a camp in the middle of the bush and of course my players handbook is nowhere near me. I'm wondering that there's got to be a thread somewhere that has the starting GP lists for the base classes as I'm trying to track down the monk, Cleric, and Sorcerer...

    Trip and Whirlwind Attack

Good to know. Thanks man. When you go by: Prevents additional attacks, do AOO's fall into that catagory?

    Trip and Whirlwind Attack

:) I'm needing to know if there is any errata or clarification on the use of the Improved trip and Whirlwind Attack: The trip rules say that you can make a trip attack in place of a normal attack, and the whirlwind rules says that you can make a normal attack on every adjacent foe... will that...

    Charge attack -Ranged??-

:D I'm more inclined to agree with FranktheDM there, it seems the more I read all of the D&D accessories, I'm finding many feats that could be more or less used as intuitive actions by inventive players and could easily fit in the chart for "actions in combat". If I'm confronted by a player...

    Charge attack -Ranged??-

thanks guys, that clears things up for me. I just gotta find out where to get the feat now. ;)

    Charge attack -Ranged??-

 Hey there. I was needing to ask a couple of questions, one of which I'm sure has been asked before: 1) Is it possible to hurl a hand held projectile (spear/club, etc) as part of a charge attack?? 2) Second of which, if the first question is correct and that it can be done... If the...

    Simple Flurry of blows question

Quick question here People. A monk at lvl 1 has flurry of blows. If he/she were to use a weapon in the off hand, would that character get an additional attack on top of the 2 given by FOB?? Thanks for any input

    Wands

I have a question. I would like to know if there is a pricing for Wands of the Lesser Orb spells, and what those prices would be for the various caster levels for the wands (1st 3rd, 5th etc...) For example a Magic missile (5th) is 3,750 gp  Would a 5th level wand of Lesser...

    Mindless Spellcasters?

wouldn't the construct need a Wis bonus for Clerical spells whereas for Arcane the int would be needed?

Lamest Creature You've used to good effect in your campaign

I have used your simple kobold to good effect. Since their intelligence is not that bad you can have fun frigging around the PC's even with a few of them. I think my best was shortly after Two players (in second edition) One a Barbarian of 8th level, and a Cleric mage 7/7 had been overcocky...

At what level do you start your campaigns?

I and the players I've had preferred starting at level 1. Usually if they survive to mid-high levels, they are the types of characters that they will find memorable. I noticed when you get the high leveled characters to start with I find many players treat them in a more disposable fashion...

What is THE iconic Gnome Class?

If I recall from way back when (1E) when multiclassing was extremely restrictive. Gnomes were given the only multiclass option where they can use a specialtist wizard class. This was before dragonlance gave the gnomes the inventive/mad scientist streak. As far as the Iconic Gnome class goes...

    Swarms...

:D Hello All. I have a question about swarms, I plan on using one soon but all I can't quite figure out some things about it. First the SRD mentions: Swarms are extremely difficult to fight with physical attacks. However, they have a few special vulnerabilities, as follows: A lit torch...

Roleplaying high INT and CHA with low WIS

I remember some years ago, a DM of mine had an interesting analogy on describing the differences with a high/low Int/wis. His example of a High Wisdom (18) and low Intelligence (3) was that the character upon chancing across a pile of crap, doesn't quite know what it is but instinctivly knows...

    An all-mage party

:D I had a group try all mages back in the 2E days. They were all pure wizards (no multiclass) and things were very very tough until they reached level 5 where they had access to monster summoning and of course Fireball. I'm thinking in 3.5 E they would have a little easier go of it since...

    Top 10 odd D&D weapons

 Damn! I'd hate to roll a critical Fumble with any of those weapons...especially the Flailing Wheel of death

2 (or more) PCs per Player

I have tried it on a few occasions back in the 2E days. In most cases it didn't work out too well, but it really had more to do with the players... Good Roleplayers can work with 2 PC's and have fun with it and make things believeable (there's nothing like watching someone argue with himself)...

Is it possible to make giant ants scary to a 15th level party?

:D You could tweak you ants to be somewhat similar to the Reaver Species from the Runelords Series. They were similar to ants to a degree and would make a party of 20th level characters soil themselves.

    Starting Gold

Well then. That kind of sucks, silly to leave something like that out for whatever reason that may be... Thanks for the info though.
