Sagiro's Story Hour: The FINAL Adventures of Abernathy's Company (FINISHED 7/3/14)

*cough* Emphasis mine. PS -- You managed to get me to de-lurk for the first time in 4 years. Well done. :)

So what posts here does WotC have a problem with?

I looks like Grampa's Power Cards were removed as well (fair enough), but also the Powerpoint template (which didn't have the copyrighted text in it). Were the icons considered IP, or was this just assumed to be the same thing in a different format? If the latter, would it be permissible for...

"Second Son of a Second Son" - An Aquerra Story Hour (*finally* Updated 04/19)

Just a quick note to say that I'm following along and caught up after this weekend. I wouldn't want Telie feeling neglected, after all. ;) One thing about reading nem's campaigns is that they always get me thinking about how I'd try to build my characters for the kind of adversity these...

    Complete Champion excerpts

By the way, in case anyone hasn't seen it, we do have a bit more info about the prestige classes from the book: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/prc fist of the forest - For some among the Guardians of the Green, the pursuit of an animalistic lifestyle is a form of asceticism...

    Champion Character Concept

Sounds like a lot of fun. Can you do voices at the table? Having conversations with yourself, or having party conversations in which both "you" and "the angel" get in on the dicsussion might be fun. To complete the sitcom-y nature of this idea, you'd want to have both personalities have...

    Longsword PCs

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

Actually, I think Burningspear was referring to the "all of them looked like Ayremac in every detail" part.

Interview with Scott Rouse, Chris Perkins & Bill Slavicsek

Seems to me that the "traditional" release date for this sort of thing is GenCon, with a couple months of hype leadup to the event. That would seem to fit the timeline that we're talking about for the end of the magazines. It also seems to me that publishers as big as WotC have learned not...

WotC is going online. What do you want the digital initiative to be?

There are two components that are critical (to me) for the Digital Initiative: User Experience and Content. I feel that others have covered a lot of what I want for content, so let discuss what I'd like from the User Experience: Massively filtered... common filters / searches (topic...

Welcome to the Halmae (updated 2/27/07)

Good to see you posting again, Spyscribe. Glad to hear that the new job no longer qualifies as a "pittance"; now if only we could arrange for a ride share for you, so you could write during the commute. ;)

The Doomed Bastards: Reckoning (story complete)

I'll chime in briefly to say thanks for the great writing, in all three story hours! I thought I might not make it past the dung monster (*eyeroll*), but I've enjoyed this story far more than I expected to, even given how good the Shackled City story was. So, thanks again. PS -- Just because...

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

Wow. Interesting. See, your players know you better than I do. I would totally have failed that test by virtue of thinking too hard. ;)

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

Er... weird. I'm not sure what made the players decide this was a test of their search skill. So far the tests have been something along the lines of "wisdom", "loyalty", "mercy", and "faith". "Trap evasion" just doesn't seem to be in the same theme. ;)

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

    Well now, congratulations, Jon!

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

Enjoyed the post-a-day very much, thanks! Although you did manage to end on a bit of a cliffhanger... ;)

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

"Anticipate teleport", from the spell compendium, takes a lot of the bite out of the scry / teleport tactic, while still preserving the usefulness of teleport as a travel spell. It's worth checking out, to see whether it fits your campaign.

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

I think it might just be a little late for that. "I didn't put any fire protections on him," remember?

Tales of the Legacy - Concluded

    Nice. Very poignant.

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

Aboslutely. Since they poke their heads in from time to time, hopefully they'll see my praise in due time. Clearly, he was killed by that first Salamander fireball. Clearly. ;)

The Realms of Enlightenment: The Grey Companions

For a story hour with so many posts, you don't seem to have very vocal readers, Jon! Anyway, just wanted to mention that you can add me to that list, and I enjoyed the heck out of reading from the first post. I'm all caught up now, and looking forward to seeing what Ixin / Lela's next...
