    Race Balance

Agent Oracle you forgot the +2 racial bonus on saving throws against spells and spell-like effects. Which is better than Iron Wil, Great Fortitude or Lightning Reflexes IMO. Between that and the poison save bonus it's rare that a dwarf makes a save w/o the +2.

    Overlapping Swarms?

I'm not sure this is the case. Is the "swarm" attack actually a "weapon" (most swarms are immune to "weapon damage")? My initial inclination is no.

Yet Another Northern VA. Group Looking For Players!

I'm interested in trying your game as well. I'm an experienced DnD player and like a healthy mix of RP and combat. Email me at burgiom@alum.rpi.edu

Who conjures themselves, I mean really people...

I always thought that conjuration made more sense than transmutation for teleportation spells anyway.

Did anyone else not get the latest issue of Dungeon?

I've gotten neither the latest Dragon nor the latest Dungeon magazines.

    How does a d5 work?

Okay, but with the different sides being different shapes I wonder how they ensure that the die is fair. I would guess that you would land on the rectangular sides more than the triangular ones.

    [Dragon] D&D versus d20 content

I have to agree if Dragon started devoting pages to non-DnD roleplaying articles I would be pretty miffed. I very aware of other game systems, have played many of them, but DnD is what I play now and it's why I buy Dragon.

    Harpy's Captivating Song

My ruling would probably be that captivated characters are not helpless and therefore cannot be CDGed nor would they get a dex penalty as SB said. I would also allow everyone a new save everytime a character gets knocked unconcious.

Double Weapons - one item or two?

I think that allowing double weapons, for the purpose of enchantment would be a balance issue. What you could do though is simply make enchating double weapons cost 2x the XP and gp and then consider a single weapon in all other respects.

    Great Spell Combinations

A good low level druid combo is summon swarm and briar web (MotW). Characters cought in both pretty much take damage no matter what they do. Edit: This combo also workes with entangle, but isn't quite as effective.

Cost of Printing a PDF at home?

I haven't but it is going to be highly dependent on the type of printer you have. Different printers have very different per-page print costs.

RPGNow/Bastion ESD Help "Hour of the Knife" Map needed

If you used a credit card, I would dispute the payment if you do not get anywhere with RPGnow. All sales are final is a poor excuse when the contents of the product are explicitly misstated. The solution Henry suggested of giving you store credit and removing or editing the online ad is an...

    Cleave and AoOs

Our group has always allowed cleave attempts after dropping an opponent with an AoO. I like it that way because it makes combat more tactically interesting. For example it can be useful for a spellcaster to "force" an AoO on a mook (using command or a similar spell) so the fighter can make a...

Well... Step 1- Meet girl, do best to hide geekdom. (No game books lying around, have conversations about 'normal' stuff) Step 2- AFTER she is soundly infatuated with you, slowly reveal geek nature. Step 3- After she realizes she is dating a geek, reveal that all of your friends, who she thinks...
