New Feats! Bazooka Baritone [Epic, FLCL] Prerequisites: Tommy Gun Guitar Benefit: The ranged attacks of the character’s guitar now deal the same amount of damage as her melee attacks, have a 120ft range increment, and a x3 critical. The guitar requires no ammo, instead producing large energy...

    Fooly Cooly d20

I had a guy at Giants in the Playground playing the class in one of his games. He said it was hella fun but I haven't gotten a reply back as to how the class might be tweaked/improved. I'm also interested in adding things dealing with the various robots, but I probably won't get to that until I...

FLCL is a short, wacky anime that I'd highly recommend. The reason the class has no bardic or sound based effects is that the two main characters have no real musical talent. Despite the fact that they wield guitars in battle neither of them actually play the instrument beyond just strumming a...
  4. Real Sorceror

    Custom divine abilities, portfolios, etc.

The only class I can think of that does that is Ranger, which is just treated as equal to a Druid's level -3. In that case, I'd just make it an epic feat.

    Epic Experience Points

As someone who regularly plays above level 60, I would highly suggest dropping the exp system entirely and just grant levels based on the encounters and speed of the game. Tracking millions of exp is a pretty big hassle, imo.

    Vampire Bestiary

Just curious UK, did you stat up any of the cool Philippines undead like the Manananggal (god thats a mouthful) and Langsuir? I always thought were pretty neat. And they really come out of left-field when used on PCs who are used to western vamps.

Initially I started this as a joke out of boredom. But I apparently do really good work when I'm bored, so I had to share. This material is meant to be Pathfinder compatible, so it is supposed to be more powerful than base 3.5 Critic is welcome. I think this could use some fine-tuning, but...
  8. Real Sorceror

    Custom divine abilities, portfolios, etc.

That kinda scares me, considering the fact that your creature is probably a divine reptile and you want it to love swamps and be immune to radiation. Hmmmm... That looks fine, but I'd probably specify whether or not it is permanent. Also, an Akalich is a beastly creature and would probably...

    Alternative names for "Hit Points"

    Why not call it.....Health? :erm:

    Epic/Immortal Prestige Classes

Heres a pretty simple class for casters modeled after the Battle Ascendant. This also assumes that there are spells of higher than 9th level. Arcanite Prerequisites: Arcane Caster Level +50, Spellcraft 50 Ranks, Epic Spellcasting, Enhance Spell, Intensify Spell Special: The character must not...

    Custom divine abilities, portfolios, etc.

Heres the custom portfolio I used for our god of monsters. Hes a big angry beetle mantis. :p Monster Portfolio Aspects: Regeneration, Swamps, Hunger Opposed Portfolio: Heroism Examples: Grendal, Medusa Favored Animal: Beetle, Scorpian Favored Class: Witch Favored Place: Swamps Favored...

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

Unfortunately I'm just not very familiar with 4e move mechanics, but I can try and brainstorm. Shield Dust blocks most secondary effects of moves. Perhaps some kind of encounter power to block or heal such effects? But that would be kinda similar to Shed Skin, which is Metapod's thing. If its a...

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

I gotta say dude (and I'm being serious), I am very impressed. This came a long way from the net of ideas you had at the start of the thread. I said on my site that I have the most complete and playable Pokemon d20 system, but it looks like I'll have to eat those words, as there is now...

What should an epic xxx (3.5) be able to do?

Do'h! Sorry, sometimes I say that as a reflex. Whenever I posted my stuff on the actual Pathfinder boards they thought it was a bit overpowered, but I feel it actually could use something extra under UK's rules. Actually, the Dicefreaks crew is working on their own 21-40ish progression. They...

What should an epic xxx (3.5) be able to do?

Howdy, I don't know if this will help, but I started a similar project at Dicefreaks: Dicefreaks d20 Community • View topic - Possible Epic Class Features Its more geared toward Pathfinder and DF rules, so it may be more powerful than what you'd like but hopefully it'll at least provide ideas.

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

Whoa, Jigglypuff looks pretty cracked out. Overall kinda cool, though.

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

Hey Camelot (and company), in case you're interested we just started the alpha playtest for my homebrew last week:Pokemon d20: Pockets & Monsters - Giant in the Playground Forums I've converted more and more things to match the 4e style, but I'm still using power points for the attacks. I think...

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

Well I'm kinda torn here with a few things. I know you'll be having your stage I and stage II evolutions occurring at 11th and 21st level. I'd like to do that as well since its simple and mirrors the human advancement. But I can't help but shudder at the thought of spending 10 levels raising a...

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

Well, I'd concentrate on having the trainers provide boosts, buffs, and have the ability to grant feats and special abilities. As for the mons, I'd just stat them all as NPCs. That will make the transition easier once they've been caught. Otherwise you might end up having two sets of stats for...

    D&D 4E 4e Pokemon Tabletop RPG

If you've got your heart set on it, I'd suggest limiting yourself to a single generation of Pokemon for the time being, or even just go with 1-50 or something. Once you have that mastered it'll be easy to churn 'em out. You may still want to consider building them as individual monsters with...
