*According to Hogarth, in the vision, he was somewhere else, but it was too confusing to him so he couldn't really understand or remember it.*

(OOC: His Int was low, and he was startled ;))

"Anyone have one left? And try to stay away from that ball... could it be possible it is there to prevent any use of magic? Well, while you figure it out, I'll try to find what it is interesting here." tells Rinaldo.

He then start to search the shelf for anything that could help Tenebrynn.

He will try to avoid them if possible, but as it doesn't seems to harm but only confused, he will rather try to search all teh room than miss something because he was afraid of a small ball of light.

*As Rinaldo moves in search of a useful book, one of the balls of light drifts into him and the world goes dark...*

[SBLOCK=Rinaldo]Rinaldo looks around at the gathered students, her long silky blonde hair tucked under a black hood, her breath careful and measured, but only because she is controlling it through sheer willpower--otherwise, her breast would be rising and falling rapidly, her heart palpating. Rinaldo still can't believe she has done it. There were so many things that could have gone wrong, and despite her constantly-projected air of bravado, Rinaldo is nowhere near arrogant enough to assume that her beauty, brains, and personal magnetism would be enough to bring so many to her fold. She raises her hands and scatters the magical powder in a careful measured circle, as the other hooded figures begin to incant and join the ritual circle. Before long, it would be done, and Rinaldo will have formally established her cabal. So many other students who were willing to follow her leadership, to praise her, to respect her, almost to worship her...it is intoxicating for Rinaldo, and she know she needs to exercise restraint lest she let the respect and adoration get to her head. But she would. Rinaldo is nothing if not strong-willed.[/SBLOCK]

*And then he is back in the here and now. Everything is the same as before...or is it? The experience was mightily disconcerting.*

(OOC: Rinaldo gains 5 XP)

"ommm ommm" intones Tenebrynn quietly as he meditates on not falling apart. He'll move just inside the door though, not wanting to be out in the hallway should something come to get him.

"Memories... strange thing these light ball... but they make me waste time." Rinaldo looks at Hogarth. "Your vision seems teh memory of someone, or it is what it's look like. We will look at that later, it might come with usefull information, but for now, just avoid it."

Hogarth nods. Rinaldo continue his search, but avoid the ball of light, trying to not be distracted by that and trying to find a solution to Tenebrynn's problem.

*It is very hard to avoid the lights--there are many of them all about, floating and in motion, drifting lazily and slowly at first, but picking up speed and moving lightning-fast when they get close to a person.*

(OOC: If Rinaldo spends five times as long as usual and is extremely meticulous, he can have a chance to avoid the lights--for every doubling of the required time (and thus every halving of speed), he will receive a bonus on that chance. So let me know on that--not that these balls of light are particularly harmful, of course)
