[sblock=Background/History/Future Development]Fethwynyth (only his mother and close relatives are allowed to call him by his given name) is a slightly shorter than average elf, with long, dark blonde hair, and piercing blue eyes. He is a little wisp of a fellow, but his active life has made him stronger than most would expect. As all elves, he has a natural gift for using slender blades and bows. But Fethwynyth's interests lie not with making war with the blade, but, rather, with using his arcane powers in battle. Thus, he became an evoker.

Fethwynyth has made the choice not to have a familiar at this point in his career. Tentatively (and if permitted), he is thinking of obtaining the Improved Familiar feat later and summoning a pseudodragon to be his familiar. For the moment, he is unwilling to share his limelight with a familiar, but he may someday figure out that a familiar could be a dedicated worshipper.

Fethwynyth dreams of one day visiting as many other planes as possible, and gaining much fame as an explorer. His ultimate dream is to discover a new plane and have it named for himself. Fethwynyth is just a tad stuck on himself (just a tad?? No! You don't say?) but he does try to not let that get in the way of things.

the ready similar to a walking stick.
[sblock=Descriptions]Grubnar eases forward leaning on his glaive, using it like a walking stick as he strides toward the stables. His steps are casual but he looks about warily. Few miss his yellow tusk jutting out from his crooked smile or his creased mountain of a brow. His numerous other weapons, a flail and several javelins held in a sheath on his back, clatter together as he steps forward.

He turns and looks out from the stable entrance toward those backing away, and through the corner of his mouth asks Brotaz "Me Grubnar. Me hit stuff with poll-ax and flail. What you do?"

As he waits for a reply, he eases against the support of his glaive. His rusted, worn, and muddied scalemail creaks in protest, and his thick mukluks make squelching sounds in the muck as he shifts his weight. With his free hand he draws back the hood of his ruddy brown cloak and raises his orcish chin proudly. Perhaps a bit too proudly. A woman's gasp at the sight of the hulking half-orc in the middle of a 'civilized' village turns heads. Grubnar takes no notice, scratching the seat of his crudely tanned leather pants absent-mindedly.[/sblock]

[sblock=background](OOC Its still a mystery for me too. I only have a few details sorted out): Grubnar grew up in a barbaric human village. His psionic talent inherited from his human mother. A true polytheist, he has doubts about the nature of the so-called divinity of any of the gods. Inwardly he beleives that they are simply incredibly powerful individuals, and that anyone who amassed sufficient power could attain "deific" status. He sums this up as, "Gods not gods, just giant giants."[/sblock]

Good Start

Great start guys we are 1/2 way there (a kool game) and already have 2nd adventure rdy

To Leif : Can't wait to see what you have come up with and don't worry we will see about your complete mage requests I'm open in that respect

To Arabesu: Your character looks ready just need a few details -
-apperance and bakground nothing fancy just something to flesh him out
-I like the fact he is going to have a photographic memory that will be neat considering his INT give some though to his speaking abilities maybe we should limit hi vocabulary and reading and writing skills (think of a grade level he's not dumb just not schooled)
- Equipment is sparse did you spend 200gp and i couldn't find price for a power stone (25gp i think)

But you are ready to play it all looks good

APPEARANCE: Following the war god has left Brotaz scared and grizzled for his young age.

twice and is permanetly crooked.Brotaz is a large and proud human who let's you know he's

BACKGROUND: Brotaz grew up in a military home his father an old compaginer that took Brotaz
with him. So Brotaz learned to fight when he could stand up and how to care for his equipment
and comrades. Brotaz took to helping the field medics and clerics he was allowed to study under
them and has fought a couple times in battles when needed. Now his father and his old company
disbanded Brotaz looks for work as an adventuerer.

Hey guys we are 4 strong (though i haven't heard from Tor in a while)

So we will start May 21st giving anyone else time to fill that last slot

Thanks. I knew that!! What was wrong with me?? I'm looking forward to our start, too. It's been a long time since I played a first level character. (The lowest starting level that I've seen in awhile has been 4th. But you're doing the REAL DEAL! :) )

Ranger Features
Favored Enemy (Ex) Tor benefits from a +2 bonus on various rolls against Orcs
At 1st level, a ranger may select a type of creature from among those given on Table: Ranger Favored Enemies. The ranger gains a +2 bonus on Bluff, Listen, Sense Motive, Spot, and Survival checks when using these skills against creatures of this type. Likewise, he gets a +2 bonus on weapon damage rolls against such creatures.
At 5th level and every five levels thereafter (10th, 15th, and 20th level), the ranger may select an additional favored enemy from those given on the table. In addition, at each such interval, the bonus against any one favored enemy (including the one just selected, if so desired) increases by 2.
If the ranger chooses humanoids or outsiders as a favored enemy, he must also choose an associated subtype, as indicated on the table. If a specific creature falls into more than one category of favored enemy, the ranger’s bonuses do not stack; he simply uses whichever bonus is higher.
Track
A ranger gains Track as a bonus feat.
Wild Empathy (Ex) 1d20+1
A ranger can improve the attitude of an animal. This ability functions just like a Diplomacy check to improve the attitude of a person. The ranger rolls 1d20 and adds his ranger level and his Charisma modifier to determine the wild empathy check result. The typical domestic animal has a starting attitude of indifferent, while wild animals are usually unfriendly.
To use wild empathy, the ranger and the animal must be able to study each other, which means that they must be within 30 feet of one another under normal visibility conditions. Generally, influencing an animal in this way takes 1 minute, but, as with influencing people, it might take more or less time.
The ranger can also use this ability to influence a magical beast with an Intelligence score of 1 or 2, but he takes a -4 penalty on the check.

1.)spell save should be 13(14 evocations) + spell lvl
2.)search and spot should have (cc) after each entry and the ranks
shold be cut in half because they are cross class skills
3.)under equipment no need to list attack and damage of weapons a
second time and where is your spellbook its not list under equipment.
4.)list full attack for quarterstaff i.e. when you attack with both ends

on a positive note i like that you took cartographer as your profession
it will play in alittle with this adventure

thanks Leif the spellbook needs to be listed also to know where it's at in case you lose it remember no spellbook no spells and the quarterstaff should be listed because you may want to hit something and give yourself extra chance just copy and paste this:

Quarterstaff(full attack) -3/-7 d6+1/d6+1 20x2

just noticed uder spellcraft you still have conj. listed there instead of trans.
