You're creating a generic human warblade with Str 15, Dex 12, Con 14, Int 13, Wis 10, Cha 8.

At 1st level, you start out knowing three maneuvers. The first two maneuvers learned are Moment of Perfect Mind and Steel Wind (7 out of 21 votes each).

Which is the third maneuver you decide to learn, and why?

Steely Strike, for hard-to-hit opponents.

Sapphire Nightmare Blade (DM 1, Strike), because if you are a WB, you've got the Concentration check.

Not necessarily at 1st level. Maybe at 10th....

True. But even at 1st level it's high enough to matter.

Of course, I'm jaded. The WB in my game managed a +19 Concentration check by 4th level. (sigh)

Conversely, the 5th level WB in my game failed a DC 18 Will save with MoPM. Most amusing.

Oh excellent!

I'm going to have to use more Will save enemies on my group's WB....he's gotta fail a save eventually.

I voted for Sudden Leap. It's basically free movement toward or away from an enemy.

My second choice would be Leading the Attack, because it's always nice giving your allies a +4 to hit an opponent.
