Hey, even better.

The latest stuff on this thread is obviously work in progress, so my next stage will be to mostly edit previous postings for better (or any) copywriting, and update the previous temp map posting.

Hopefully back into game mechanics and classes if I don't fall into a Temporal Stasis first.

But before that…

ÄRAM: Wake of Fallen Empire

RELIGION

Ben Duín

(b. 634s, d. 579s)
the Vertical Ray of the Sun
ancestry and young life
had stillborn twin brother
descendant of Emperor Durisdana, according to the Teulan Motherhood he was in a possible line to produce redeemer, Inun Eisu - the Anointed
inungere (Latin, to anoint)
heir to trading concern
organized textile workers at Imperial looms before the religious phases of his public life

Early Vocation
Poesod - verse concerning faith, almsgiving, nature of knowledge and truth, beauty of natural world, nature of suffering, predestination/free will, influenced by Durisdana
forsook summons of Teulu Lleian to Alfaad for arranged marriage
awakening and the fullness of time, kairos/Zen

High Vocation - Hual is the true God by another name, all other deities are his reflection
took woman of mixed ancestry as consort

Late Vocation
reframing concept of the "good sleep", life eternal, life after death is not only province of deities and kings, but open to all
more meditation/mysticism, ideas of eternal life/awakening
fathered a child with consort
calls from followers to continue mission, plans to expand mission northward and even to Imperial court at Alfaad
son is born, beginnings of new mission
stung by dogfly, dies although the bite is rarely fatal, house is ransacked by followers - manuscripts lost
consort and son - in hiding after death, their fate was never known, some think the son was the Inun Eisu and will now return nearly 800 years later to claim the title, the Doma sees this view as heresy, the Teulu Lleian think that would be impossible since Ben Duín did not participate in their arranged marriage but took his own consort
wars of succession between factions, one of which becomes the Doma
