27) The Elvish word for "wrinkle" is considered a minor profanity, and is substituted with a variety of euphemisms in polite conversation. Using the word itself in reference to an Elf's appearance can be anything from a minor social faux pas to a deadly insult, depending upon the circumstances.

28) Elvish ferrymen often ask for a severed finger as a toll. It does not have to belong to the person wishing to cross, but many are picky about the species, size and less obvious factors of their tribute.

29) Elves consider any form of food produced by farming tainted and refuse to eat it. However, they have mastered the secrets of cooking even the vilest of monsters into legendary cuisines for those are the freest of beings.

30) An Elven wizard may and must dye their hair with a streak of different color for each school of wizardry they have mastered. Necromancy is purple, evocation is orange, transmutation is green and so on. All customary colors are extremely bright and unnatural.

31) Elves remain celibate until they are ready to choose a life partner. When a couple declares they are ready to be joined, they do not exchange rings; instead, they each cut off their little toe and feed it to one another. If the bones "pass" and are found mostly intact, the wedding is confirmed. The couple then wears their bone in small jars containing herbal preservatives as a symbol of their dedication.

If either bone fails to pass for any reason, the couple can never wed anyone and must remain single and celibate until death.

35) Elves whose profession or calling requires them to travel to unforested regions for extended periods may take up the art of Bonsai, so that they can conveniently carry a tree with them in order to carry out the above custom (though with a Bonsai tree it's more like shaking hands than a hug).
