Knowledge Check
DC 25: Dagon's mere presence inspires revulsion and terror in his enemies. His features encompass the most horrifying aspects of the eel, shark, and squid. He swims the roiling seas of the Elemental Chaos.
DC 30: An ancient sect of Kuo-Toa worshipped Dagon long ago. That race of people has nearly been wiped out by the Sahuagin, who consider Dagon a threat to their god Sekolah's power.
DC 35: Dagon has a strange, tenuous alliance with Demogorgon, who is known as the Prince of Demons. To what end is uncertain.

Legend
Awesome. I've been thinking it would be fun to have a small seaside village full of fishermen who worship Dagon as a minor sea god ... or at least that's what it looks like at first glance, but as soon as the PCs wander into town, the evil cultists lurking in the town try to capture them for use as sacrifices to the Demon Lord! Of course, any PC trained in Religion would have the opportunity to find out that Dagon is actually a demon and not a god with a Knowledge check ...
