Asherah cries out as she is blinded by the flash of light. She senses and hears Quentin come up beside her. “I don’t have range, but yes, retreat. We need to tell the Academy about this!” she agreed.

Taking a moment to find the magical flail Medrash had dropped, she gripped onto Quentin for help in retreating away from the gibbering abomination.

“Raven! No one stays behind!” she called out to the woman.

Zivar is terrified, seeing his classmates backing off he also moves away from the creature. He notices Mim duck behind a tree, knowing that Mim's survival instincts are far above and beyond is own he gets a mental image of this creature hurling something at them and also ducks behind a tree.

Breathing heavily he keeps an eye on where Mim was, waiting for his que to run again, or to fight... He really hopes it's run...

OOC: Yes, Asherah can grab Quentin and drag him back at half speed, so 15 feet.


Lyla, who's been sitting on Quentin's shoulder this whole time, picking at her fingernails, finally looks up to see what the commotion is.

"Oh, hi Bertha!" she says, cheerily. Then she sees the halfling and gnome throw rocks at the creature. "See! I TOLD you throwing rocks at Bertha was fun!"

The mouther lunges towards Raven. It's not that fast, only moving about ten feet, which puts it about ten feet away from Raven. One of its other mouths spits another glob of goo at the rest of the party, and it too flashes in a blinding light.

OOC: Make another Dex Save!

Now for the NPC's Wis and Des saves:

Mezzra manages to continue fending off the insanity, but goes blind as she reaches for her dagger as the flash hits. She stumbles backwrds, throwing her dagger in the general direction of the creature.

Jorrick shrugs off the insanity and the blindness, but is not willing to get any closer to the thing, lest he incure its wrath. He helps Asherah drag Quentin another 15 feet.

Korlin still can't shrug the insanity, and takes another swing at a party member: [roll2]

Raven fires her darts once more at the thing:
