In tonight's game I used a reskinned 5e cyclops as a mutant Hill Giant, the first time I have used a 5e cyclops.
A couple years ago I started tracking which monsters from which editions and from which sourcebooks I have used. The cyclops was number 39 I have used from the 5e Monster Manual and I noticed it now matches the 39 monsters I remember having specifically used from the 1e Monster Manual, which I used throughout both 1e and 2e as my base monster book. Still a ways to go to catch up with the 86 monsters I used from the 3.5 SRD though.
How deep do you think you have gone into the 5e Monster Manual bench?
Is there an edition you think you went deeper into their core monster book?
