On another note am i allowed to take regular magic items instead of the playtest ones. Can't find anything suitable for Akilah except the aba. The shield of Faith is nice but is more for turn undead than see truth.

Yes, your options are either:

(A) Choose 1 rare magic item and 3 uncommon magic items. From either/or the magic items in the DMG or the playtest document.

or

(B) Roll 2 times on Magic Item Table B (in the playtest document) and 4 times on Magic Item Table A (in the playtest document).
