A Little Challenge

It's not "Rouge"... That's makeup.
Play as Azathoth. He can be found here: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=cthulhu/article/ex20020321h

He has SR 52, and can duplicate any spell of 9th level or lower. These spells have no material or XP components. When he does, the DC for the spell is 62+his Cha mod, which is +12, for a grand total of DC 74.

As an added benefit, you can Haste yourself as a free action, and you have the ability to fire a ray that is 20 miles long, and does 42d12 on a successful ranged touch attack, with no save.

You have AC 63, Fast Healing (200) and 2,666 HPs.

All of these are in addition to the 20 class levels that you get. You could also add a template or two, such as Fiendish and Half-Dragon (Black).

Whatever you do. Do the recursive Leadership thing. Also, bring along all the followers. You probably won't have enough figs. Doing this will probably let you use more than a few of the above suggestions.

Assuming that this is an arena battle,...
How about this for a plan: Suicide Cohorts!

Step 1. Take Leadership.
Ensure all your cohorts have Leadership.
Ensure all your cohorts have Initiative Smackdowns.

Step 2. Use Craft Staff to manufacture Staffs of Power.
Equip each Cohort with a Staff of Power.

Step 3. When the battle begins, make each Cohort rush at bad guy and retributive strike, fully charged. That's 400 damage/staff, Ref half (DC17)

Given the 1.5million starting cash, you can make 15 Staffs, so that's 6000 damage, or 3000 damage if they make optimal saves (assume they do). The only slight problem is people with evasion.

In other words, you can kill Azathoth 4 times over with this (assuming he makes all his saves). It bypasses AC, SR and anything other than evasion. The only prob other than evasion is Cohort loyalty, but various Enchantments can solve that.

Does this qualify for a humorous smackdown?

How exactly would 3,000 points of damage kill Azathoth 4 times over? That would barely kill him once over. ;) (We'll not even get into the fact that he can't be killed...)

Not to mention that the 2,666 HPs is before 20 class levels. Assuming he takes 20 levels of Wizard or Sorceror (not that he needs the spells... but that's the smallest HD, so I'll go with it), he'll have around an additional 620 HPs. 20d4+(29*20). His con is 69 (a +29 modifier.)

The 2,666 is also average HPs, so it could be even higher if the DM lets you roll the 72d8.

He also has a reflex save of +61, more than enough to make a DC of 17. So, all of those Staves of Power would do 3,000 points of damage to him, leaving him with 286 HPs. And each round, he heals 200 HPs.

His HPs could be even higher if you spend one or more of your ability score bonuses, gained from levels, to add to his Con. He would also have at least 7 more feats, and 3 of them could be spent on Dwarf's, Giant's, and Dragon's Toughness. (He already has normal Toughness).

My mistake. I thought he only had 666hps. I thought that was slightly too small, but there you go...

Still, giving him class levels is cheating.
Well,
In that case...get Chief Cohort to take levels in Warmaster (S&F). Sell his Huge Castle for 1,000,000gp (DMG).

Build ten more Staves and boom. Down goes Azathoth

Of course, that's ignoring that he can't be killed...but still...

SA–Breath Weapon (Su): Cone of fire, 70 feet long, every 1d4 rounds; damage 24d10, Reflex half DC 500000037.
SA–Frightful Presence (Ex): Dragons can unsettle foes with their mere presence. This ability takes effect automatically (radius 360 ft) whenever the dragon attacks, charges, or flies overhead. A potentially affected creature (one with less than 1000000039 HD) that succeeds at a Will save (DC 500000037) remains immune to that dragon's frightful presence for one day. On a failure, creatures with 4 or fewer HD become panicked for 4d6 rounds and those with more than 5 HD become shaken for 4d6 rounds. Dragons ignore the frightful presence of other dragons.
SA–Locate Object (Sp): This dragon can locate object 12/day as the spell of the same name.

SQ–Keen Senses (Ex): Dragons can see four times as well as humans in low-light conditions and twice as well in normal light. They also have darkvision (range 1200 feet).

Oh drat, forgot to make it a 20th level character. Um.. Add 20 levels of Bard in there for fun.

(Don't forget to have the dragon use miracle to cast Greater Magic Fang... :D)

Asmodeus, I'd sure like to know what your DM was thinking when he said "ECLs don't count."

I'm pretty sure he doesn't know what he's gotten himself into...
:D :D

(He's gonna sh*t himself when he sees some of the characters his group somes up with...)

I can see it now:
Everybody in your group brings these uber Great Wyrm Red Dragons with billions of HPs (Thanks, Jairami!), or Elder Gods... except for one poor guy who comes in with his wimpy 20th level Elf Wizard.

I think both he and the DM will fail their Sanity checks. Be sure to bring some spare straight-jackets to your next game. :p

Who will probably go on to win the game, because all the uber-gods will whale on each other, leaving him to pick up the pieces. ;)
