Blinking the sand out of his eyes, Crag charges through the burning cloud of sand. It hurts a bit, but at least, now, he can see where the dragon is! Carefully circling around the beast, he attempts to split the dragons focus while making sure that it could only breath on one of them at a time. Crag circles around a tree and then, just as the dragon loses sight of him, the warforged bursts forth, stabbing at the giant lizard with a blade covered in ice. The blade only grazes the beasts scales, but Terra ensured that that did not matter. Flowing from his blade, the ice collects on the scales of the dragon and quickly spreads. Soon the ice covers the entire beasts body, locking its joints. With the dragon's scales fused together, it feels like its body has become a solid block of ice.

"Go ahead and turn into a cloud, now! You'll shatter into a thousand pieces of frozen sand!"

I'll be updating tomorrow morning-ish. If Reklaw doesn't show up, I'll NPC. Best option again seems to be to charge, unless you have other suggestions?

Tonight I watch Canada battle Slovakia in the frozen wastelands of Canada Hockey Place

[sblock=Re:Bump] I think the charge worked rather nicely last time, so let's go for it again if he doesn't do so himself.

Also...GO CANADA!!...that is all. [/sblock]

Finch shouts in pain as the sand whips at his large body, raising one arm to ward himself against the sand he charges towards the dragon. Leaping over rocks and plants he launches himself towards the dragon, both swords plunging down towards the dragon's upper back, right in between his wings.

[sblock=Attack]Used the attack we talked about earlier... Not sure if 23 hits or not. +1 to damage if it does because of the attack, no negative because of success on DC 20 athletics roll.
Athletics - [8,13] = (21)
Attack - [10,13] = (23)
Damage - [7,8] = (15) (+1)

Once more, Dorn calls lightning forth. He blasts the beast with every ounce of arcane energy at his disposal, drawing energy from his magical dagger as well.

Dorn watches, satisfied, observing the dragon from the relative protection of his shroud

Ingot shakes its head, trying unsuccessfully to dislodge the sand from its eyelight recesses. Lashed by the scouring sand of the dragons breath weapon, it moves away, trying to put some distance between it and the danger while drawing on its reserves of strength to repair some damage.

Blinking the sand out of his eyes, Crag charges through the burning cloud of sand. It hurts a bit, but at least, now, he can see where the dragon is! As the bugbear stabs the dragon, it turns towards the goblinoid and unleashes a gout of sand that he withstands, but Jax isn't so lucky. The kobold feels more pain. This gives Crag an opening though to punish the wyrm.

vs Fort (jax, finch); dmg (1d20 5=17, 1d20 5=12, 2d8 3=14) hits Jax for 14 [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]
I'll truncate the turn there. It's Dekana's turn, but if Jax moves he'll fall unconscious (only at 4hp) as you're now in the zone. Feel free to adjust your move/standard action if you'd like. Still need to keep the failed save though

Also, Crag gets to actually use his Warden's Fury - Thought I'd give you the honor of rolling Kal. Note - you've unlocked its AC (22) so keep that in mind,

[sblock=Nature DC15]
More than any other kind of dragon, brown dragons are driven nearly as much by the desire to discover new tastes as by the need to accumulate a hoard. They so love eating that they sometimes take risks in combat merely to “sample” one or more of their foes. Thus, a brown dragon might take a bite instead of making a more tactically advantageous attack for the chance to taste an enemy, especially a creature it has not previously encountered.
Brown dragons prize elf flesh for its succulence and tenderness, and least prefer dwarves, whose tough meat they consider unpalatable unless it is aged

[sblock=Nature DC 20]
A brown dragon’s breath weapon is a blast of supernaturally hot and stinging sand that corrodes flesh and blocks all visibility

[sblock=Nature DC 25]
A brown dragon makes its lair under the sands, in a hollow within a ruin, a cave, or a similar structure. A lair can consist of several such chambers, each one an island of air surrounded by an ocean of smothering sand. A brown dragon doesn’t need tunnels—it can burrow between the rooms of its lair without difficulty.[/sblock][/sblock][/sblock]

[sblock=Unlocked Monster Stats]
Reflex is higher than 18, but lower than 23
AC is 22[/sblock]

*Feel free to post in any order, but actions will be resolved in initiative order below*

Dragon - TBD

The blast creates an area of swirling sand that remains in place until the end of the dragon's next turn. Any creature that starts its turn adjacent to the area or that moves through the area takes 5 damage. The area blocks line of sight for all creatures except the dragon.

Forgot to roll recharge for BW (breath weapon) last time - recharge (1d6=6) ok he recharges

recharge (BW); Recharge (t-port); save (1d6=4, 1d6=3, 1d20 5=6) fails to recharge either power and also fails save, still burning acidically...

Initiative:
Finch - 21
Jax - 20 - 4/32, blinded (save ends) <- you're up
Dragon - 14 - ongoing 5 acid, prone (can't stand TENT (Crag) takes dmg if it does), used 1 AP, ongoing 5 necrotic (save ends, -2 against this), IMMOBILIZED (save ends)
Dorn - 9 19/32; total concealment while in Shroud
Ingot - 8 - 21/37+4thp -blinded (save ends)
Crag - 5 - 41/56 - Winter's Herald (+2 Fort), blinded (save ends)

init (Jax, Ingot, Crag, Dorn, Finch, dragon) (1d20 5=20, 1d20 0=8, 1d20 1=5, 1d20 8=9, 1d20 5=21, 1d20 7=14)[/sblock]

[sblock=changing move]Difficult / hazardous terrain effects take place when you move into a dangerous square, yes? So if Jax starts just inside the zone and then moves outside, he'll avoid damage from it.

He'll still move and second wind, but his path will be R20 -> S19 -> S18 -> S17 -> S16.

(Damage comes from starting adjacent to the zone, or moving within it. The above action bypasses both conditions.)

HP after second wind is 4 + 8 = 12. Bloodied, prone, and swimming I presume.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc]Ok, we're actually waiting for the dragon to go, right?

Ingot has one healing word left - anyone want it now, maybe Jax? Also, since it's still blinded and can't attack effectively, this would be a good time to use Shield of Faith. Who wants it? It's a +4 to any one defense until the end of the encounter. Fortitude for Jax maybe? It's a little tough, the dragon might not be able to breathe again so AC could be better... but if it does breathe, the Fort might really help.[/sblock]
