Eryto screams in Abyssal, "Orthos! To the front!" before backing off himself. As Leonard looses an arrow, the gnoll's chain whips out from between the goliaths, striking the monster as it reels from the Bard's projectile. The hunter skulks behind his meaty flesh-wall, not willing to take many more blows before this all ends.

[sblock=OOC]Move: Orthos moves to G8, Eryto moves to F10. Minor: Hunter's Quarry on km1. Standard: Twin Strike on km1; +2 to damage from Pack Attack. Attack 1: 1d20+9=26 vs. AC, 2d4+4=11 damage. Attack 2: 1d20+9=14 vs. AC, 2d4+4=10 damage. Hunter's Quarry: 1d6=4 damage.

You'd never believe Ghorgor was taking a ruthless barrage of assault by looing at his smiling face but his tattered armor tells a different story. Still, he keeps singing without missing a beat as he keeps hammering his foes.

''Like a rock. standin' arrow straight

Like a rock, chargin' from the gate

Like a rock, carryin' the weight

Like a rock!''

Fracture spins underneath the arrow just as Leonard shouts. Then, seeming to follow the merchant's advice, tumbles towards the drow. As he leaps forward, he swings his his tree trunk towards the foe... but the strike misses, as it was meant to be a feint to draw the drow out. As he lands, he swings again, hoping the drow fell into his trap.[sblock=OOC]Move to M13 via Undeniable Incitement. Atk AS2: 17 vs Will. If hit, draw to M12, knock prone, and due 17 damage. The party drops a pair of the kuo-toas, including the large one holding back the party and one of the archers.

Seeing his underlings falling under the party's onslaught and the relative healthiness of the adventurers, the aboleth retreats diving into a pool of water and disappearing from sight. A cry of anguish or rage echoes in the adventurer's minds. Suddenly the walls around you begin to collapse, unleashing a torrent of water from all sides. The water quickly rises, dislodgingthe bridae so that it floats atop the surging water that threatens to fill the entire chamber. The drow lays on its side struggling against its bonds while the remaining kuo-toa's are either slain or retreat.

[sblock=Arcana DC 16]
It's likely that the aboleth had created some magical wards to keep teh water back, but with its defeat they must have failed or been purposely dismissed [/sblock]

I could've planned that encounter better, the aboleth had all short range powers and by the time I got it up there it was too late to make a difference. Ah well, live and learn.

So you're in the chamber now and the water is filling it up, you have a couple rounds before it's completely full.

Ghorgor: 51/62 - used 9 surges, DR5 TENT,
Eryto: 25/32, used 7 surges,
Orthos: 20/30, used 2 surge,
Willow: 30/30, used 6 surges, swarm form.
Leonard: 32/34 - used 2 surge,
Ronen: 32/32, used 5 surges,
Fracture: 30+7thp/44, bloodied, used 10 surges,

[MENTION=54810]renau1g[/MENTION]: The only way we are aware of is the way we came from, or do we expect that place too will be filled with the rushing water?[/SBLOCK]

OOC: The way you came was already filled with water, so probably be flooded too.

Down the waterfall to the west, (a 10 ft. drop), a tunnel half-filled with water continues in the darkness. [/sblock]

"There!" shout Leonard, pointing the bottom of the waterfall to the west. "There is a tunnel there. It's not completely flooded yet. Let's go that way!" Once Ghorgor will have taken the drow, Leonard will follow the big fellows into the tunnel.

[SBLOCK=OOC]Perception (1d20+9=21)

In other word, Leonard will follow Ghogor and Fracture into the tunnel.[/SBLOCK]
