So, the Cambions go first and then the rest of you get to go.

GM: You move beyond the Kruthik cavern and continue down a rough walled passage till you reach a bend in the path. It curves around to the left and starts to widen out as the walls become smooth, worked stone instead of rough hewn rock.

Ahead, you see the hallway open into a room lit from below by a fiery orange glow. You creep forward through the growing heat as you see movement at the far end of the room. Reaching the edge of the room, you see a torture chamber scene ahead as two red-skinned, winged humanoids stand around an alter torturing an all but naked blond haired human woman. They take turns burning and piercing her with their weapons as she screams and whimpers under their combined attention.

On the left side of the room, a line of cells takes up the whole wall with the slumped form of one captive visible within one of the cells. Most of the chamber floor is a grid of metal bars glowing a cherry red due to the heat of the fiery coals below them. Embers and bursts of small flame crackle upwards through the holes in the grating as drops of blood from the victim on the alter sizzle upon dropping down to the floor.

One of the Cambions facing the passageway spots the group and growls at the other one to attack. Flapping their wings, they each charge forward and slash at the front ranks of the party with their flaming greatswords.

The first one slices at Beyrk, Hrav, and Quagmire, managing to cut the hobgoblin and the bugbear and setting their clothes alight.

The second one attacks Hrav, Quagmire, and Kauldron with a single slice across from one to the other. Quagmire and Kauldron each sustain a nasty wound as their clothes begin to burn as well.

After their attacks, each of the Cambion's shifts a step back just out of melee reach.

Edit: Ahh right shift a square back. Though when a character or creature charges there turn immediately ends after the charge. Only free actions can be done after a charge. Unless they have a special rule I'm missing or something.[/sblock]

Dang't sniff the air and coughs as its warmth irritates his nose. Seeing the devils burn his friends, he yells, Stoppit! Bad things! He spins his dagger and stabs at the air, lightning arcing to the nearest fiend, but it ducks under the blast. OOC: Darn it! You are correct sir. That's what I get for not turning the page and seeing the end of the description of the Charge action in the PHB. Sorry all for the confusion. Disregard their shift backwards. Cambion #1 should be at K10 and #2 at K11.

*Kauldron chuckles aloud as the fire consumes his form.*

Ahhh, feels like home again. Thanks for the warm up lads, was being to feel a little chilly there. Though let's see how well you like my fire in return!

(He grunted and his body pulsed out a boom of holy fire now consuming the pair of cambions. Using that as a distraction Kaildron darted onto the burning hot grates past one of the Cambions then turned sharply and held his shield up high as he kept the momentum of his spin. Charging the one Cambion in the backside. His short sword lighting ablaze with holy fire and slashing at the Cambion's back. He twirled the blade within his skilled hand and slashed again at the same Cambion this time with more force as divine strength was given to him through his mighty planar god. Kauldron's body ignited and cnsumed Kauldron's body with holy flames. Kauldron's entire body was as bright as the sun within the underground room. So much so that the Cambions had a hard time seeing anyone but Kauldron in the room.*

Hrav takes advantage of Kauldron's distraction to viciously stab one of the cambions with Black Death. He's unable to put the fire out, though.

OOC: garyh, the one Kauldron is flanking with Hrav is cambion #1 at K10, not cambion #2 at K11. Could you edit your post to show Hrav targeting #1 if hitting the flanked you was your intention as it sounded? That way there is no confusion.

Also Girth you forgot to stat the effects of your power.

-Effect (Star Pact): Target takes a penalty to AC equal to Girths Int Mod. (Which I have no idea cause your sheets not working it seems). [/sblock]
