Janus settles back into the rough chair trying to get comfortable before he relates his story of his absence and new friend but is rudley interupted by a kuffufle up on deck.

Racing up the stairs Janus see's tonk disapearing into the darkness, followed by shouting, clangs of steel and the gurgle of torn and sliced throuts. Tonks bravodo snaps him out of his amazement and Janus's training takes over.

Slinking to the side of the ship he cast a simple light spell on the deck to better see his foes. Janus then picks a spot deep in the stern on lets loose with arcane fury. A single mote of ice issues forth, flickers and then erupts into a brilliant spray, Cold light fills a large area and the temperature drops dramatically. The sudden change in air pressure causes ear drums to burst and the victims stumble about dazed.

[sblock=changer] Colour Spray is a close blast 5, not a burst. Did you want to go with Freezing Cloud with the same area and rolls OR do you want to move to N0 and hit 4 of them (tonk killed one and T5 is out of range)? Or you can pick another power and choose where to place it. Actually you could use your Dragonling for this as long as he moves to N0 or so! I will use your first 4 rolls... [/sblock]

Tonk kills the first hobgoblin at N5, knocks the one at M5 prone and then misses the other hobgoblin at O1 (by 1).
The hobgoblins at P5 and P6 should also be prone, since they are adjacent to where the dead hobgoblin landed. The hobgobin at O1 is prone, because the knockdown is an effect of the attack (which means its not dependent on hitting). Yeah, 'Stomp and Splat' is a sweet power.

I guess it would be easiest to have the Dragonling in Active mode and use dragon breath.

[sblock=OOC] Still waiting on Shorrin, otherwise I will have him move and use the barrel with Giantkind Gloves on the nearest hobgoblin.

Janus hit all 4! they are dazed. Note that the goblin warcaster in P5 is not knocked prone since it is not adjacent to the O6 soldier (it is up the stairs and on the upper deck) but the soldier in P6 is prone on the stairs. Saraz can make an attack, I have her delaying so far.

Saraz realizes the dangers faced without the sultans gaurds around, she clutchs her crystal orb from her belt and without a word to her companians focus her attention on one of the Hobgoblin soldiers.

Saraz steps into the mind of the hobgoblin and focuses it's attention on the one with robes behind it.

"Look at him there, so smug, he's been stealing from you, you know it to be true. Remember it, the last time the loot was divided notice how he counted. He's cheating you. You feel it every time you get near him. It's not just that. Yes you remember don't you, your woman, he thought you wouldn't know but you could smell his stink on her. He wants to kill you and take what's rightfully yours. End this now before he gets a chance."

Tonk's charge slays one of the hobgoblins before it can even turn to face him. The creature's body goes spinning about, knocking two others down. Shorrin moves to a barrel and throws it with ease, but it crashes into pieces on the deck, missing. Janus's new pet sprays four of the remaining hobgoblins with icy color, dazing and injuring all of them. One of the hobgoblin soldiers turns one of the robed, striking out at him in anger and hitting his dazed ally. Murphy moves back towards the foredeck, arming himself.

The robed hobgoblins shout back and forth to one another in Goblin. They raise their staffs and toss out bolts of force. Tonk dodges the first one, but the second injures him and sends him sailing towards the side of the boat. He grabs ahold of the edge and stays on deck. Another bolt strikes Shorrin, but he also rolls with it and keeps from falling off.

The soldiers pick themselves up off the ground or shakes their heads with dizziness. Looking first towards their commanders, two charge Tonk but he rolls around on the ground causing them to miss. Another moves to join them in a phalanx line. The fourth charges Murphy, but swings it's flail wide.

The hobgoblin hits due to dazed from Janus 1d20+11+2=17 for 1d20+8=10 damage and slowed TENT
The two dazed warcasters use force bolt missing tonk, hitting tonk, tonk slides to L0, saves from being forced overboard, he is now prone
The last warcaster moves up to R5 and hits Shorrin, slid to M0 but he saves also and is prone
The soldiers roll lousy.
Not sure how I got the hobgoblin wrong, DarwinofMind.
