As Bruno's last henchman falls, the unfortunate man also explodes, causing some harm to Andrec and splattering the entire party with gore.

Andrec is unfazed, and heads over to assist Skalisss in defeating the man responsible for all this.

Bruno screams in rage as he fires another poorly aimed blast at Skalisss, "Peasants! How dare you?! Do you know who I am? I am the heir of this city! Daunton should be mi-" His ranting is cut off as the corona of light placed on him by Growl suddenly detonates, nearly knocking the man off his feet.

Bruno will shift back and target Skalisss with a Withering Blast, but misses. He then rolls his save vs Faerie Fire. What a good time to roll a 19. So he saves, and takes [urlhttp://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/3017601/]oh gross, 19 radiant damage[/url]. Um, he *is* still alive, but I don't think you could fail to drop him with your next hit.

Bruno stumbles back from the coordinated assault of the heroes, blood welling from his wounds. "Curse you," he spits out, his words quiet but full of malice. "Curse you all. I deserved better... than this." With that, he collapses, his empty hand vainly clutching for something unseen. But even that motion quickly ceases.

"Victory is oursss!" Skalisss bellows in triumph. Making sure Bruno is dead he congratulates his friends: "well done, the villan wasss no match for our combined might."

Growl reverts to his warforged form, then nods in agreement with Skalisss. "This villain shall trouble no one now."

Andrec remains quiet, wiping off his sword on bruno's clothing. He picks up the rod where it rolled from the man's hand, tucking it through his belt. Sheathing his sword and placing shield upon his back, he looks at his allies. "We should report to the city."

Andrec remains quiet, wiping off his sword on bruno's clothing. He picks up the rod where it rolled from the man's hand, tucking it through his belt. Sheathing his sword and placing shield upon his back, he looks at his allies. "We should report to the city."

"Agreed" responds Skalisss as he starts checking the other fallen for valuables. "We ssshould sssearch thisss lair before we leave, sssomeone could disssturb thingsss while we are away".

Searching the room and the bodies, you a couple items of possible, if not immediate, value. The first is the rod through which Bruno was channelling his powers. It is made of some strange metal that you don't recognize. It is very cold to the touch, and it feels as though it may be slightly malleable. The second find is the apparatus apparently used to create the mind-altering incense and other alchemical substances you have encountered in this venture.
