OOC: Ryk and Spring do indeed get the 5 THP since they're now adjacent at the start of my turn. Also, keep in mind you can get a free 6 HP and a save roll at +2 when you spend an action point while you can see Crush.


"Steady there Darksun!," Crush calls out to the Dark Elf, "Stay in the battle and keep your wits about you."

The warforged then rushes at the patriot guarding the mage, but the Cyran's swordplay easily deflects Crush's longsword.

Rikka spun her totem through the air, and even in the enclosed room some could feel the winds beginning to stir in response. She pointed towards the mage and the air swept forth, scattering debris from the nearby tables. While the mage was able to resist the pull of the air spirits, they clung more fiercely to the dog-like iron construct. Then Rikka tucked her totem into her belt and drew an arrow...

Assassination! Round 2

Vok attempts to down the bloodied assassin, but the dead body beneath him distracts him. He is, however, able to channel enough of his faith to staunch the fire assaulting Ryk.

Ryk moves closer to his warforged defender, trying to stay out of melee. Spring continues to burn under the magic flame.

[Second Chance still available. Spring fails save vs fire.]

Bellegon strikes out at the assassin rising above him, but she leaps out of the way just in time.

[AC 17 misses. Don't forget B took 5 fire damage at start of turn (before save)]

Crush rushes in, but the suave looking fighter easily deflects the blow. Bellegon, regardless, is inspired by Crush's tenacity.

[Miss. Belegon healed and no longer bloodied]

Rikka's cold winds push at the hook-nosed leader and her construct, but only the latter is harmed.

The hook-nosed leader screams Kill them! Kill them all! and rushes the stage, her iron construct following. She turns to the warrior before Crush and points emphatically. He shrugs and slices Crush once, then follows with another swing that cuts deep. His follow up throw at the halfling looks to be a bad blow, but Ryk turns to minimize it.

[Leader allows CP to make MBA vs Crush that hits; CP then attacks Crush, shifts, and attacks Ryk. All hit (even after Second Chance): 5hp to Ryk, 20 total to Crush (bloodying him).]

The mage, seeing nothing between him at the looming warforged, quickly blasts him with fire before retreating back. The intensity of the fire burns Ryk as well!

[Mage uses fiery wand, hits Crush for 8hp (leaving him at 1) and also does 4 to Ryk for being adjacent.]

One of the assassins rushes the stage, cutting the Lord with a vicious swipe. The one between the drow and half-elf moves away and attempts to engage Vok to no avail. The last, however, kills one of the Lord's bodyguards.

[Lord ir'Haran is bloodied]

The Lord wipes the blood from his chin and regards the assassin with a cold stare. He steps back to his dead guard and pulls forth the dead man's weapon. His other guard rushes the assassin, but misses.

[Lord ir'Haran is now armed.]

The bystanders continue to flee!

There are stairs to get up to the stage (which is 5' up). The line indicates a higher level in the back that is difficult terrain to get up. Pillars provide cover for those next to them; you cannot move through table.

Rikka gave a soft growl, and her form blurred as she began to move. In a heartbeat, she had shifted into her panther form and she raced across the platform towards the nearest assassin. While he was able to avoid her initial lunge, a second slash of her paw was enough to send him spinning off the platform.

Ryk gets to his feet, cursing. He sees a clear path out of the pavilion and considers making a break for it; he has no concern for this noble who may or may not deserve assassination. But his companions are in a fight, and they have helped him when he needed it. He glares at an injured attacker and decides to try to take her out of the fight. He then grabs a pitcher of ice water from the table and pours it on Spring, soothing his pet's burns.

move: stand up; spring moves to J9
minor: quarry L3 (un-quarrying cp)
standard: twin strike L3 with boomerang, hitting once for 7 damage.

Rikka's form blurs as she rushes the assassin facing Lord ir'Haran. She savages the surprised man, drawing blood.

Ryk backs up, unhappy with the situation but pressed to defend his friends. His Plain's weapon slices open the woman's neck and she tumbles over. Dark energy continues to infuse Bellegon.

[L1 bloodied. L3 dead. Bellegon gets another charge to Dark Spiral.]
 

OOC: Next round goes cursebite, if you need to unload a daily or something with multi-healing and need to hit, inform me so I get Darkfire on the target.

stonegod, if CP attacks Bellegon, DO NOT use darkspiral interrupt. I'll keep it to increase the damage of cursebite with the rod.


Bellegon stands up and glares toward the mage, but cannot curse him just now, he needs to move first. He curses his guard instead and heedlessly charges the man, shadows pulsing from his dagger. Dagger flares on impact and the man staggers away from his charge and from Bellegon.

"He's all yours Crush! And you, mage, now let's see what are you made of."

He turns for the moment toward spectators, fixing hobgoblins with his black eyes.
"Dirgesinger! What honor is there in watching this cowards kill helpless people. Assassination should be clean and isolated. Help us teach them some manners!"

Vok moves quickly across the room, engaging the duo that Bellegon assaulted. His own attacks are wild and uncoordinated.
