Graven begins to lose feeling in his legs as the poison works its way deeper into his system. Unable to move forward again to strike at the crawler with his sword, he instead launches a magic missile at the creature.[sblock="actions"]SoT: 5 damage from poison

Once again the kobold dashes at the carrion cralwer before being forced back by its tentacles. Ignus growls in frustration and mutters an impressive and very expressive string of curses describing what the crawler can do with its tentacles, some of which you're almost positive the crawler lacks the dexterity or anatomy for.

The party has almost killed of the hideous beast. But when one threat diminishes, another begins. Merri's observations are true. Many of the eggs hatch producing hungry carrion crawler spawn, which zero in on the party. Most miss, but two connect with their tentacles, one hitting Merri and the another hitting Graven. Both feel the poison of the puncture wounds immediately, feeling slowed with their actions.

"Oh, yuck! Like the tentacle monster wasn't enough!" Eva protests as she is assailed by what look like large maggots. At first, the elf makes panicked attempts to smash the bugs with the base of her staff. When she completely fails to hit them, she finally gathers her wits enough to cast a quick spell. Eva raises both arms toward the crowd of bugs and summons a blinding flash of rainbow-hued light. The nearby maggots and one of the eggs are burned away into dessicated husks.

The zombie, though it is far enough away to not be encompassed by the light, lets out a shriek of discomfort. It collapses to the ground and shows no traces of movement.
