GM: According to my records Ignus had 22/28 prior to this round and Merri had 22/34 hp. I am going to assume that the party took a short rest to max up (i'll deduct a surge to do that)

OOC: You gave us an extended rest, so we're all full everything.
let's assume that you have had an extended rest due to dm tardiness :) All HP, powers and AP full. Go get'm. Also, since the beast is preoccupied by the guards, the party gets first attack. Stats for the beast are coming soon.

OOC: oye! Is everyone afraid to go first?


Merri moves to the flank of the beast, "Graven! Ignus! Like we did against the giant bug that tried to eat me, let's hit it from both sides!"

She waits until one of the companions moves across before attacking with her rapier. Due to the beasts distraction, her blade hits true the emotions bolstering Ignus.

Movement: Shift to P-8.

Delay Standard until someone moves opposite Merri and use: Energizing Strike vs. acid hound: 1d20+9+2, 1d8+5 → ([9, 9, 2], [8, 5]) Roll. Whew! Barely hit for 13 damage. Ignus gains 4 THP.

Merri gains DR3 vs. the acid hound and starts regenerating at the start of her next turn.

Taking advantage of the distraction provided by Merri, Ignus jumps into the battle with a furious growl. He lashes out with a combination of his talons and dagger. When his flurry of blows is finished the beast is covered in wounds.

Eva strolls past the enormous hound, totally ignoring any threat it might pose, and then turns to face it from the rear. She drops her right arm and winds up with a pitch. As she twirls her arm, another flashing orb of light materializes in her palm. Eva lets loose with the throw, and the orb sails over her target's head, burning the hound and leaving it dazed once more.

OOC: Doggie is dazed until the end of Eva's next turn. Combat advantage for everyone!

Move: Walk to P11. The dog is still dazed, so it can't take an OA.
