After the Festival

First, as for Li's renewed interest in the Yuan-ti: Li did indeed give up on the war with the snake-people when he first met you guys. He had given up on the ideal of the samurai. But with the death of Atomos, Li felt responsibility. He again took up the way of the samurai, and is again interested in helping his people. keep in mind that he could help his people by going himself, or by sending some kind of support. If the SOL decide not to persue the Yuan-ti option, Li will still provide what support he can.

As for Li's Priorities (Not inculding the Yuan-ti, since that would not be for another 2 years):

1. Wolf-demons - Li has respect for Kiminiaha, and the demons persent an imediate threat to Greerson. Li feels that this mission is something that Lord tannerson would have an interest in.

2. Gnolls - A good mission, of interest to Lord Tannerson, good training for fighting Yuan-ti.

3. Giants - Of interest to Lord Tannerson, but Li isn't too interested in going into the mountains. But he might meet Sketos again, which would be nice.

4. Ghost Tower - Li doesn't like this too much since it isn't a threat, just a money making opportunity. But there is knowledge to be gained...

5. Path to the Gods - Li doesn't have any particular reverence for the gods. He isn't against them, per se, but he doesn't feel that he needs their help.

6. Sahaugin - Li isn't too keen on going back to Stormhaven.

Oh yeah, the giants, forgot about those...

Anyway, that doesn't change things. It looks like that's 2 votes for the wolf problem at hand being our biggest priority. Anybody else care to weigh in?

 

[Tormal]

It should be obvious to everyone how Tormal feels about the recent murders and the part this party, or more specificly Tormal, plays in them. He would certainly like to try and find out what is happening. He doesn't feel that it was this group's fault that these creatures entered the realm but does feel that, if we wan't to make a good impression, we need to try and help with it.

as for the rest of the presented options Tormal rates them as follows

Gnolls - If they are attacking for no apparent reason and causing death or dispair they must be evil! Tormal doesn't like that. If we can take action against them we should.

Giants - Again, they sound terribly evil!

Path to the Gods - Although this is as far down on the list as it is, Tormal is pretty motivated to try and find the path. He has been looking for a diety to worship for a bit now and thinks finding the path may help him in that decision. He also feels that this would be a great way to get our name out.

Shaugin - Tormal feels that fighting for such a large city could yield good benefits. He also thinks he may run into more of his peers - from the academy - there. It's not a huge deal for him but he certainly doesn't reject the idea.

Soul Gem - Tormal does not want to participate in this quest. He doesn't feel it would be the best way to get our name out there nor does he care for the wealth it offers.
